To the Scottish in general, if the game is so shit hot in Scotland, why do your best teams want to join the English Premiership? That would mean even more BBC highlights of the game the English invented.

Nottingham Forest shared the greatest football manager who has ever lived. He won everything in the game except the FA Cup with teams he developed from nothing. He sadly died recently. He left a legacy in the East Midlands that will never be surpassed. His name is Brian Clough.

For big Premiership games, my local team and England (Engerlaaand) international's I would choose a bar showing a game over a bar not showing a game. Same same for rugby internationals or other major sporting events. Minor sporting events such as Forest games and curling it would make no difference.

You can't get a drink at Doha unless you go to the Qatar Airlines business lounge. I ended up buying half a litre in the duty free and having occasional sips in the bogs. I then took the bottle onboard (KLM) with me in my laptop case. We stopped at Damman in Saudi and the Saudi police had a good search of the plane for any open bottles of alc. Just be careful.

Apparently, just servicing the debt will cost an arm and a leg daily. I may be wrong here but the club has gone from owing fuck all to owing something in the region of 300 mill overnight. Looking at it logically though, he'll get his money back if if he flogs Rooney, van Nistelrooy, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Heinze, Giggs, Smith, Scholes, Ronaldo, Saha, Neville (the ugly one - oops, they're both fucking mingers) and anyone else he can think of. Travelled Dynasty Class with China last week Bkk - Ams. Travelled with them last year too. Oldish 747 but nice interior with personal screen that pops up out of the seat armrest. Excellent food for the main meal. The IFE is not on demand but adequate, however the software used is shite. Seating comfort is fair and the recline is adequate. Seating configuration downstairs is 2-3-2. The cabin crew are attentive and efficient. I had no trouble consuming vast quantities of wine and brandy. Once my glass was empty a very fit stewardess was there almost immediately to refill. The menu is given out on departure and the choice is excellent with both Western and Eastern choices. The cabin crew come around and take your order before departure. I found the Western breakfast to be a little stodgy but ok. I dosed up on sleeping tablets hoping to sleep the whole journey but unfortunately a couple of Chinese ladies in the two window seats across the aisle from me managed to crochet and talk constantly for 11 and a half hours. I kept emerging from a fitful sleep to the sound of clicketty clack clack. How anyone can talk for all that time is beyond me. All in all I will travel with China again.

Who would you have as manager? I don't think McLaren (ex-Derby) has the pedigree or the track record. Mourinho would be a good choice (ready for the flames). I can't see any English managers who have the pedigree apart from Curbishley.

BT, admittedly, he made a mistake in the Brazil game but he has managed 50 games in all. I don't know the exact figures but I think he's lost only 2 or 3 competitive games in all that time. He must be doing something right.

Winston, are you a Forest fan? I thought it was a good performance and Sven's record is second to none. Don't forget, when he took over we always struggled to qualify for tournaments, that's now a distant memory. I'm happy with any tournament where we can get to the semi's or quarter finals. Remember, it's a lottery after that. Up the Rams!
