Never stayed at the Dynasty Inn in Pattaya but have stayed at the Dynasty Resort in Pattaya many times. Everything there is perfect from the service and staff to the rooms and pool. I'll be there next week.

Dynasty Inn for about 1,000 baht 30 seconds from Nana Plaza, 20 minutes to Soi Cowboy and 10 minutes to the Eden Club. I'll be there Tuesday.

Very sad news.

Did I read somewhere here that a card can be purchased that gives cheap internet access. Fine just as long as the hotel doesn't charge for 800 numbers.

I've flown with them a couple of times, Heathrow - Bkk via Istanbul. Service is ok, food ok although nothing outstanding. Doesn't really matter though as you're only about 8 hours from LOS.

Kinell Emil, I'm always pissed in Pattaya and have nearly lost my life on numerous occasions on 2nd Road. I'm thinking of employing someone to get me safely across 2nd Road on a permanent basis. Trouble is I can't wait 15 minutes to cross the road.

As always my recommendation is Dynasty Resort on the hill in South Pattaya. 1100 baht with no breakfast for a superior room. Girl friendly, a few pics below. A 5-10 ride to the action, nice and quiet with a great pool. Dynasty Resort Everyone had their own preference but I have stayed there probably more than half a dozen times and had no problems. I've heard the prices may have inceased recently but you can negotiate at the reception. I always do, smile, have a joke and you'll normally get what you want. (within reason) In-room service excellent and cheap.

I always use Dynasty Inn in Bangkok for the first night after the flight to LOS and then stay at the Dynasty Resort on the hill in South Pattaya. Some pictures for your perusal. Has to be the Dynasty Inn at Nana. Dynasty Inn Less than 1000 baht per night. It's 30 seconds away from the action, nice bar, girl-friendly and clean rooms. Try to get a room in the back extension if you can.

Travelled with them twice from Heathrow to Bkk via Istanbul. No complaints really for the price (around UKP 400-450). Crew could have been friendlier and service a little more accommodating but what the hell, I was going to spend my time being pampered in LoS, not in an aeroplane.

I was in Pattaya whilst Cobra Gold was on. Have to say the place wasn't overcrowded and I didn't see any trouble at all. All the guys seemed to be having a good time and kept the girls busy. I have to say I was expecting the prices to go up due to Thai economic theory but they seemed the same as my last visit six months or so previously.

Just returned from the Dynasty Resort. Had a friend stay in the Dynasty Inn on Soi 13 and he moved out because the telephone system has a fault. Even though Dynasty Inn is nearer the action I enjoy the solitude of the Dynasty Resort when I feel like just sitting by the pool and doing nothing.

I've stayed at the Bkk Dynasty before and will be staying there on Tuesday 11 May for one night. The hotel is clean and for less than 1000 baht cannot be beaten IMHO. The hotel is literally 30 seconds walk from Nana Plaza. I've only ever stayed in the new annexe and find the rooms to be fine. The hotel is right across the road from a massage place and whilst waiting for the the free transport to Pattaya was sorely tempted with a ST. Resisted the temptation heroically. I always stay at the Dynasty resort in Pattaya and cannot recommend it highly enough.

I thought this was a discussion board where differing views and opinions were discussed. If you get annoyed so easily, may I suggest you either seek medication or stop reading the board.

Each time I go to Pattaya I speak to some of the owners of small businesses. Pattaya is full of them. I offer to make them a website at a ridiculously low cost. When I get home, I do the website. When I return to Pattaya, I collect the money or goods in kind. Apart from doing my bit to put a little back into Pattaya, I make new friends who I meet with. It gives me a good feeling. If you lived there all the time it would be worth cultivating this sort of business. It won't make you any big money but I would guess it would be enough to exist on.

Nidge, did you stay at Dynasty Resort a few months back? I think we may have met.

Used it many times myself with no problems. I seem to remember a cute babe works there. Can you BF an internet cafe worker?
