With regards to the security of registering for an account can there not be a manual verification ie submit a request then choose how to verify something like a recommendation from a current long standing member or photo id? Upgrades can be some troublesome! Im trying to recall what caused the loss of so much of the early posts from winston and the likes back in the early 2000's cant recall if it was a server crash or an upgrade by PP at the time

Every restaurant I have ever eaten in pattaya (except Hilton lunch buffet) has screwed up my order or had delays or not had meals arrive together. That's Thailand... most places would not even listen to your complaints, some would want to give boxing to you however I have always found that when PBG screws something up it gets replaced with no questions asked if you are not happy. Further if you email Peter he will respond and I do believe he takes things on board. Its not easy running a business in Pattaya to western standards and I believe PBG gives it a pretty good go. Regardless the view and location is superb.

Good question and one that many people have contimplanted. Firstly my personal advise is strongly avoid this step in so quickly, in most situations the only thing you want to bring back from thailand is pleasant memories. A friend of mine recently learnt the hard way what can go wrong. He has been in a relationship with a girl for approx 3 years that he met in a disco on Samui. She is not a young bar girl however a very fit 39 year old so she is not a young immature Bar Girl. Anyhow they have traveled extensively throughout Thailand on at least 6 occasions, they have also twice traveled overland to Vietnam through cambodia and my friend can stay for anything up to 12 weeks at a time. This in no way is a "Summer Holiday Romance" She has her own money and runs a small loan shark and moto hire business, she has never asked for a single baht however my friend has always been expected to cover costs during their travel. He has invested a small amount of money into her business to purchase some more scooters however this is it. There has never been requests for money for sick mama, buffalo, dog, gold fish etc etc She has been to Australia twice and as she has sufficient funds in her account and operates a business she was not considered a risk to Australian immigration so a Visa was issued. The first trip went well enough however during the second trip she become jealous of the fact that he shares (rents) a house with two other girls one Australian and one chinese. He's situation is that he is divorced and lost the 2 houses that he brought into the relationship as part of the settlement (that is another long sad story) Any the situation was very bad as she become petty even when he washed up their dishes and put them away as part of the shared chore responsibilities she found a reason to be jealous of this. Many other issues arose and she eventually threatened direct violence towards "Lady China" as she put it. She had to be restrained, and then she stormed out of the house. My friend decided that enough is enough and this was not acceptable and that despite the 3 year history this behavior was not acceptable and that she was to go back to home early. He offered to purchase a ticket to send her home, she refused this and stated that she is going to stay and cause trouble for Lady China. In other fit of rage she decided to storm out at 2.00am in the morning and simply disappeared. A day or two later the police were on the door step with an order against him!! he then also had an order issued against her. She was moved into a womens refuge and she is now playing the system to create trouble. Anyhow everyone is different however understand that this was a long term relationship over 3 years with long stay stints He is responsible for her in Australia and she is causing him much worry,

My first trip to Pattaya in June this year was memorable! I dont think that I have had so much fun in four days! I'm back in November this time for 14 days! I have heard about a crack down due to the summit, are the bars closing strickly at 2.00pm at present. How busy is walking street or are things slow in Pattaya. Are the cover up restrictions in the Go GO bars still in force? Looking forward only three more weeks! ;D
