It is starting to be a bad habit but I agree with LDK again - apart from beach side location I also like the location of Nirun Condos - and I don't think the complex is shit - if it were they would not be able to keep the maintenance fees low. 26 sqm. is unfortunately too small - but combining two units would be pretty good - are the walls between the condos structural or can they be moved as desired ?

You did make it look nice. It is not that much too small for me to live in - and I could certainly live in such a room 1-4 weeks at a time. If I was retired I could live in this room cheaper than at home in the winter months. In that season it is cold, dark and wet here in northern Europe - the choice should be easy The problem is the temptations - so it would end up with being much more expensive - and accommodation a smaller part of the total price

You can get laid - the reason it takes more work is because it is illegal and the government will enforce the laws if someone too openly disregards this. Expats knows their way around it - and as a tourist it is not too difficult to find a way.

Thank you guys. The VND is not worthless in Pattaya - it just has a low rate - but that is also true in Vietnam. I tried changing 3 million in my small hotel which would have given me 139 US$ minus a reasonable 3 % exchange fee. It turned out they only had 110 US $ so they gave me back 600000 VND. I had no more time to change in Vietnam so I took the 600000 together with an additional 1250000 I had to Yenjit moneychangers in soi Buakhao and they gave me a rate of 0.0013 (and my XE conversion app says 0.0015 so that is fair) resulting in just over 2400 THB. So 110 US$ and 2400 THB - maybe not a fortune but certainly not worthless at least not to me :-) So I beg to differ Mirkwood ;-)

I am in Hanoi now and due to the fact that draught beer is so cheap (5000 dong on the sidewalk) and reasonably priced pfp seems to be too much hassle to find I will probably eng up with too many dong. So can Vietnamese dong (vnd) be exchanged in Pattaya at a reasonable rate or are the only worth something in Vietnam ?

She told me also that she is on leave to take care of her mother. She did not mention not coming back. I think it depends on how close you are to someone if it is a waste or not. Many would find it well worth it to ease the last month of a parent. Sent from my TAC-70061 using Tapatalk 2

Nok Airways is nice - but tbh I have flown Air Asia several times without any real complaints. I don't really need to pick my seats and the price for any additional luggage is not really high. I agree - it is good that Thai get some competition on the KK flights :-)
