That looks like an impressive looking spa in your back yard. I would not call it it a swimming pool, as it is too small to do tumble turns. I like your manicured lawn. Surely, you would not need a lawnmower to cut the grass. A pair of scissors would do the job. I don't know where Atlas2 swims his laps, but at my 40 metre pool body fluid from the Russkies and the Thai kids are no problem. At about 10PM when the maintenance man from the condo tells me to get out of the pool, he pours the right amount of chloride into the water to kill any germs from the piss and the ocassional turd left beh

You are wrong . Whenever I go to bed after drinking lots of beer I feel fine. Only my wife objects as I smell of alcohol and am not the bed partner she would like me to be. When I wake up with a sore head and feeling like a spew, I could easily rectify the problem, by drinking more beer. I have tried that, but it only delays the problem until I I have another hangover, Maybe its a good thing I am not a regular drinker and only have the occsional binge .

B.B King always meant a lot to me. In the 70ties and 80 ties I nearly spent all of my spare time surfing in Bali. Someone told me about that old guitar player B.B King. Mate Jacko, Having a large enough pool to allow me to swim laps. certainly has its advantages. I'll go for a swim this evening after dark, when the water is even colder. I am doing so hoping it will help me to get rid of my hangover. The 2 tablets of paracetemol I took this morning didn't work at all. I asked Mrs Gonzo to buy a couple of beers to ease the pain, but she refused . She won't come for a swim with me either, like most other people living here. Hi Jacko, I think you feel so cold in your pool because you don't do any serious swimming and are just treading water. I find the water feels only cold when you first enter it. After swimming a few laps I don't feel cold any longer. it feels pretty cool again when you get out of the water, especially on a windy day. Toughen up a bit, my friend.

I have changed my mind about not making another New Years resolution. I had a great time last night, but I finished up with the worst hangover when I woke up this morning. My problem is binge drinking. I seldom drink, because after a couple of drink I just cannot stop myself to have many more. Therefore I make a resolution never to drink again.
