I have had 18 crowns done and 6 of them required root channels, all done at Pattaya Inter Hospital Dental Clinic now on 9th floor of PIC. as stated before if a root channel is required it takes a minimum of 2 visits, this depends on how well treatment takes and if the medication that is put into the root "kills" all of the nerve and can be scraped out on the second visit, you should also be put on antibiotics during this period in case of infection and yes it is between 5-10days between visit for the meds to work and swelling to go down. so far I've had 8 crowns & several root channels done in the past 5 yrs all done at Pattaya International (most famous for Dr. Arry (sp.?) Bit more expensive but good work, prices go up every yr, but have been paying about 10,000tb per crown, that's 85% gold. Will probably need an implant but PIH dental does not do them, will defiantly consider PI if I can get a Dr. recommendation. chers rb
