Sunshine vista serviced apartments Guest Fee??
Bear194 replied to bostondoc's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Staying there now...it is anew policy but if you book a double they do not charge. Not a scam they will add the fee to your bill. -
Air Asia Rocks. I do not know how they do these specials but they work great if you are flexible on your travel dates. Just booked BKK - Hanoi return for Feb.08 with my wife. Pay taxes only. Two people return flights, approx $70 Can Each. Definitely a bargain. Last summer I got free seats also BKK - PP return for taxes only $37 Can and it was very efficient and stress free. I only hope that they continue to have these sales.

Good hotel...the only place I have stayed the last 7 trips. Clean, guest friendly close to Big C, beach, Welkom Inn, Soi 2&3 beer bars. Walk to Soi 6 and baht bus nearby if you are lazy. Good value also if booked through Res 24. -
Bring your wife and enjoy...My wife and I visit Pattaya for 6 weeks every winter and it is hard to say who enjoys it most. She is welcome in all the bars, day and night, and is a hit with the bargirls. She spends a lot of time talking with them with a dictionary, she learning Thai and viceversa. She loves the beach and sun and of course the food from street stalls to fine restaraunts. And while she spends considerable time at spas like The Beauty House it gives me plenty of time to visit Soi 6 or other massage places. Bars such as the FLB or Blues Factory or Easy riders or We Are The W

After three weeks of checking and e-mailing sites I have booked a return trip BKK to Siem Reap with Bangkokair in early January to allow me to finally visit Angkor Wat. I got THB 10,830 round trip including all taxes, insurance surcharge and fuel surcharge. THis is a saving of more than $260.00 Canadian as quoted by a couple of local travel agencies. I also tried a couple of travel agencies in BKK bu they were more interested in just selling me a 3 day package to tour the temples. This did not interest me as I wanted to spend considerable free time exploring sanook on Seim Reap. Thus, my

Been home exactly 7 days and just completed booking my 6 week long return for Jan. 08,2006. After 20 trips, mostly on Air Canada with codeshare and flying west from Canada, I have booked an eastern route for the first time with Air france out of Montreal. Anyone have any comments on Air France service, or services at the airport in Paris during my layover - 8 hours ( hopefully a day hotel ). I am wondering whether or not the jetlag will be different by changing direction...I do not want to be to shagged before hitting Soi 6 again. Cheers to all.

Sunshine Vista Serviced Apartments
Bear194 replied to stevoman's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
I will be at the Sunshine vista next week for my 4th stay. I love the place, vry clean, good location and great staff. For my 1st long stay of 6 weeks, booked directly with them over the internet They asked for one month deposit...I balked at an international money transfer (Can to Thai) and instead sent my Visa # by fax to hold the room. All went well. Short term stays I book through and get the 900 bht rate with never a problem. For subsequent long term stays once they know you, just book and reconfirm a month or so before you go. I agree with the other posters.... 200 Baht to the maid on -
Hey Lemons, Have a wonderful trip and be sure to say Hi to Pla at We Are the World. Wow long is your trip? I am about a month behind you - leaving for trip 19 on Aug. 02 and excited already.

Stumpdog My hotel of choice now...it has what you want with the two benfits of being new, and clean and close to the Soi 2/3 action which is a littttle less in your face. I am booked there for August and again in January...will be my 4th and 5th times there and this from someone who rarely stays in the same place twice.

Bear194 replied to grimsbyuk's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Sunshine Vista - Soi 3 - meets all those requirements. Book thru Res 24 and get a 900 bht rate. in addition stay 7 nights pay 6. -
I would heartily recommend The Sunshine Vista on Soi 3. Go for the Studio and negotiate the price. The best bathrooms I have seen in Pattaya...lots for room in the shower or the separate tub.

Torrenova Made the trip from Ottawa 18 times and never flew east...exactly the same distance as flying west but the route through London is always double the cost of flying the western route. I usually get Air Canada through Toronto to Hong Kong and then codeshare with Thai. I use a local travel agent with contacts with a consolidator. Plus every 3 trips paid gives me enough Aeroplan points for a freebee.

sunshine vista serviced apartments
Bear194 replied to vanilla73's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Fonz Bigmofo posted the website with all the rates - 1320 baht for a superior to 1800 baht for a studio which is great. The best deal however is to book a one month rate -I paid 31,000 baht for the month or 1,000 baht a day. It has to be the best value in Pattaya for the quality of the room. 2 minutes from the soi 2 beer bars - 5 minutes from soi 6 and 10 baht from the rest of the action. Book and enjoy -

I spent the month of January at the Sunshine Vista...no bothersome construction near the site. Any work that was going on was certainly quiet. Yhis is my favorite hotel in Pattaya. I have spent my 6 week vacation with them for the past two years and have booked again for Jan 2006. -
Thanks...It is now done. I was worried before that if I cancelled all subscriptions I would be cancelling the forum...which I do not wish to do as it is very informative and helpfull. Cheers
