Let's be clear-Virgin DOES NOT fly to Ft Myers.

That is common on nearly every discount carrier-no matter the country. I'm using Jeju Air from Seoul and it applies with them too. Cebu Pacific,Air Asia-all the same.

Is this place still a going concern? Looks appealing.

I'll do a review after my visit. But for $30 total, I want to give it a shot. -

That's part of the profit equation. But every airline limits the # of upgrade seats in Business & First (if they have First). Another part is filling every seat in a low-yield market makes little sense when you can move that aircraft to a more profitable route with a load factor that is not full but has higher yield fares.Filling 100% of A-380 seats as opposed to 80% of 2 744 acft makes sense because the operating costs are far less when you factor in fuel & crew/layover costs for them. Yield management is closely watched on a daily basis and is a reason you see fares change on a daily basis in some markets.

Yep,on Delta it's the only way to go until Delta starts Seattle-Bangkok w/i the next 2 years. But don't hold me to that. Seattle is the west coast hub for Delta now with flights to Asia and at least 3 destinations in Yurrup. I guess its simply a matter of choice-is a person on vacation willing to save a few hours and pay more or.......... some folks don't like 1115p arrival either. It's a long haul for me from South Florida via Detroit,Minneapolis,JFK or Atlanta just to reach Narita. Atlanta -Narita is neary 14 hours which is awful unless you're up front.

There isn't a person here that hasn't done this at least once, usually the 1st time. Or if they haven't, they had someone local with them to do it. Yes it is easy to learn. Full disclosure,I found a clerk that was stocking shelves and politely asked her for help.

Sad to hear this. It was indeed a good place to eat years ago and fairly reasonable pricewise.

Great post Colin. Some of those ladies could earn a small fortune if they decided to subsidize their vacation.
