    Adding to the difficulty of being PC precise is the fact that there's no name other than USA and variations on that. It's a similar problem to the USSR before the breakup. Many referred to that combination of states as "Russia" for brevity. That's good enough most of the time. I always find myself saying I am from America when asked by a Thai. No way am I going to spell out or try to say an acronym. So sue me!

    They work great with POS terminals that take credit cards as well, so I'd say they are, in fact DEBIT cards.

    Yes, I found the NakhonChai Air terminal shortly after this topic...it's just south of Pattaya Klang (as Sa-teef shows) on Sukhimvit. I have yet to take one, but the missus uses them regularly. She says they are very nice.
