Skygod, you were with a waitress (red badge) who was needed to serve drinks at the party, not to dance. The rules of FLB are that service staff are cut triple bar fine if they don't show up on a party night --- to serve customers their drinks, act as cashier, make shooters, etc. As it happened, there were about 40 golfers, assorted other customers, and their dates, so the bar was quite busy that night, and we needed every waitress we had. The golfers, who had paid for the party, decided they didn't want to have a dance contest, so it was up to them. I didn't know we were not going to have any dancing until late in the evening, as it happened. Sorry you didn't have a great time. I hope we can make it up to you at your party on the 5th of January

Walking St agogo, New Living Dolls 1, will be hosting a Pattayatalk members' get together on Monday, 4 December from 8 to 9:30pm. Draft beer will be free during those hours. Thanks to BM, alan lad, for making this night available to our membership. This is an opportunity for anyone who is not familiar with New Living Dolls 1, and/or wants to meet other board members, to share a few drinks and make some friends while ogling a bevy of damsels. Please remember that the service staff should be tipped, even if the beer is free, and attention of the dancers will depend on your willingness to buy them a drink (unless you're just too hansum). Hammer will be in attendance if you have any questions. I, unfortunately, will be out of the country at the time.

No, I'm not thrilled about it, but the IP checking was only done for the first time about 2 months ago. So, until that point, we still relied on people to remember to log out.

I switched off the check for duplicate IP addresses when you log in, though I might put it back. With the check for duplicate IP addresses turned on, what is supposed to happen is when you access the board from a different IP than the last one you logged in on, the previous IP is logged out, and you are asked to log in again. This is good to clean up old logins on internet cafe computers, but appears to cause some problems for people in internet cafes that might be getting new IP assignments on their trunk line during your session (causing you to have to re-login). Anyway, I turned off the check about a week ago (20 Nov).

I spoke to a resident today who said the lift is working. I don't know about the pool or noise.

yes, the IP is different for each spam id.

Due to the annoying behavior of some twat who keeps spamming the board with ads and sex links under multiple, registered ids, I have temporarily removed the ability of registered, new members to post or create topics. Firstly, you've been upgraded to member status, so you can see the rest of the board. This site isn't for free advertising unless you provide content to the membership as well. For example, if you were to just come on and say "Come stay at my place, it's the best in town", you'd probably get a reaction from the board members that you deserve. They love to identify spammers. But, if you are a contributing member of the forum, have a business, and have something to say about it, as long as the information is useful to the community of readers, then go ahead. Touting your business ought not to be the sole reason for participation on the board. That will be transparently obvious to everyone if it is. Welcome!

Remember, "polite" in the open forum. That includes technical questions area. I am moving this to the Funnies section. And, yes, I have a WiFi PDA that goes to the can with me frequently.

Last night, after Mescalito's Birthday party, a bunch of us from FLB went over to Chica Bar to wish David a happy birthday. Unfortunately, he'd gone home by that time and only lovely co-owner Yu (ex mamasan FLB) was there. We had a great time and lots of FLB staff showed up to wish the bar success. Chica Bar is just outside the door of Catz and Club Boesche in Covent Garden on Soi 16 Walking St. Here is Yu, looking great. The place to which you are referring is a couple of shop houses down. Cock and Bull is still around. I've known people who have stayed there, and the reports are spotty. I haven't met anyone who has stayed there (or who has told me they were staying there) in the last year, however.

SFO Customs last year gave me a full electronic media check...cell phone, PDA, camera, computer. When they turned on my computer and asked for my password, I told them that was a private password. The inspector said that's fine, we'll just send your computer to the lab and search it. I gave them my password.

The web admin (PattayaPete) is setting up a new Gallery feature for the board. It will replace the Stunner's Gallery eventually. But, while it is being set up, it is "offline". It will only be available to Members of pattayatalk, not Registered users or Guests.
