  1. Anonymous HA I don't know his name, same as I don't know the names of every stall operator at the market near my house or the lovely ladies that serve me in the nearby 711. You really are a complete dufuss! Regardless of of your imagination or deluded sense of self worth IT DOESN'T MATTER. Redirection from the OP is called "threadfucking" and if it wasn't for the fact that you single handedly support the post count of this forum someone with real balls would have exported you long ago. Having said that, for the sake of the OP I'll ask the guy his name today and post a phone number
  2. One of the reasons this forum is quickly dying is the number of moronic replies you get to a valid question. On Sai 3 (3rd Road) Soi 17 (actually nearly opposite the much touted Tigglebitties but on the other side of the road) is a guy that sell/supplies the whole kit and kaboodle. Prices vary with the size of the porker but he can do the whole thing for you. Call me if you need more help as the forum god here wont let me help people using the PM system Cheers : ADMIRAL Ken Joe: How long did it take you to become such a big FUCKWIT?
  3. Gday mate, try http://www.escape-rentals.com/ I've used them many times when I first came to Pattaya (MM was the one who recommended them to me). They have good vehicles all with first class COMMERCIAL insurance and 24hr nreakdown service. The rates are higher than the crooked ones but that's mainly because they pay the premium for the correct insurance. Cheers : Admiral Ken PS I believe that they have either closed or moved one of their 2 locations (they were too close together anyway) so call and ask them where they are first. If you get the owner he is open to discounti
  4. No effort spared in hunt for runaway cow VIENNA, AFP August 20, 2011, 1:11 pm A "cow whisperer," helicopters and infrared cameras: no effort is being spared to find Austrian runaway cow Yvonne, who escaped slaughter in May to seek refuge in a Bavarian forest. The cow has become a media star in Germany and Austria, having evaded capture for almost three months, with Germany's leading newspaper, Bild, putting up a 10,000 euro ($A13,892) reward for her capture earlier this week. But an Austrian animal sanctuary, which has offered to buy Yvonne to spare her another traumatic trip
  5. Price reduced to 1000B at request of the organiser. Includes food, bait and equipment. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  6. After having someone cancel out on their booking for this Sunday (21st) I have been approached by a couple of Americans who would like to have a day out fishing and meet some new friends and enjoy some fishing and maybe swimming and norkelling. Normally we rent the boat out on a private rental basis but on this occasion the "hirers" would like to see if they can defray a bit of their costs and also meet some like minded lads. There will only be an additional 7-8 places available and we will do this on a first to pay gets in basis. The cost for the day, including food, will be 1000 Bah
  7. P72 - good variety and reasonble prices, never had a bad meal there in the MANY times I've indulged. For a decent Aussie Breakfast (which may or may not be your taste) try the Roo Bar - Best steak sandwich in Pattaya. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  8. For 2 months or short stints it's easy but I can understand Randy 100%. After a year of managing all of them from here I just gave up. Paying them online froma bank account in the same country (Oz for me) was not a problem as I did that when I was in Oz. But if I ever needed to pay from the Thai accounts the conversion fess were HORRIBLE. I dont live here solely on my assets or income from Oz as I have a thriving business here (much to the disgust of some ) Other complications come about when you (inevitably) lose or misplace a card and need a replacement. Now dont get me wrong, ALL of t
  9. For all 3 requests - Ned Kelly's Good atmosphere and the menu is not bad - when she's working LOL There a a few other restaurants around there but I'm not the best to ask. For accomodation the Opey De Place is good and has a pool with snack bar and bar that can be used (I think a fee applies for the pool if you're not a guest) Cheers : Admiral Ken
  10. Jacko, there's a huge difference between banning the use of something and banning it's posession. I thought I made it clear in my post that the USE is banned but POSSESION is not - otherwise there will be a lot of farmers and builders out there breaking the law. The answer to your question is NO in this case. Along the same line, as its USE is only banned and not posession I would not be breaking any laws transporting it - and no it's not easy to get anything where I'm going. Finally, you understand the point of the topic. I have tried to find these "in Pattaya" but have fa
  11. CB I get more negative response to my business here from BMs here that have never even set foot on my boat than anythhing else. I'm still miffed as to why some feel the need to criticise and deride others here who are just trying to run a business. We see examples here of bar owners turning on bar owners and there is a distinct lack of compassion between some of the expats in certain areas. This is not to tarnish all of them with the same brush as there are some good ones out there. My point is that NONE of the backbiting and sniping is needed. When I joined this board (around the same
  12. I have used the 2 chemicals in question in Australia in days gone by in supervision of a licensed pest-controller. I am very much aware of their toxicity, use and handling requirements. The intended use for these chemicals will NOT be within the borders of Thailand so I'm not going to be using it contrary to Thai laws ... and incidentally, the use of the 2 substances in question has been banned for specific purposes within Thailand, this will not apply to the way in which it is to be used. It was not my intention to berate bazle but, given the general negative tone of this whole forum
  13. Google's a wonderful thing isn't it? Incidentally, crystal meth, heroin etc etc etc have been banned here for a long time too. Did you know that girls under 20 are not allowed to drink alcohol in bars ? ... and the list goes on. :banghead Cheers : Admiral Ken
  14. I'm looking to purchase some heavy duty pesticides in large quantities for, believe it or not, PEST control. My main targets are Chlordane or Heptachlor (the latter preferrably). Please don't rave on about the dangers or the fact that it's banned in the USA, halflife or any other crap I already know about. This is Thailand! They don't care if someone else bans it! I've tried a few "commercial" pest controllers and just got blank looks and no assistance. I'm not going into businssa against them as anyone who knows me also knows I'm too damn busy with my current business. The ide
  15. Tom, you are correct - in fact that exemption is posted on the sign displaying the legal sale times. For those of you who are interested 2 cartons of beer qualifies as over 10 litres and gets around the times 100% legally. The exemption does not apply on prescribed "no booze" days of which I believe there are 4 in the legislation plus any election days or locally declared "dry" days. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  16. The last place they'd make them would be Oz. Try asking around at one of the many Oz bars in town which show the AFL : - Billabong (LK Metro), BTW how is Greg? - Ned Kelly's (Soi Lengkee) - The Boxing Roo (on 3rd Rd, near S. Lengkee) - The Roo Bar (Walking St) and a host of others. I know I've seen them in town somewhere but as I'm from Sydney "that game they play in Victoria" was never my first interest for a sport. (Hail the mighthy Swans - ) Cheers : Admiral Ken
  17. Sorry Short, cant answer that as I picked 2 and told them that they were included with the bike I just bought. They resisted at first but when I started to walk out and said I'd buy the bike elsewhere they changed their mind. I do know that they had a reasonable range of full-face ones though as I had decided to make sure that I got 2 when I bought the bike. I must have tried about 10 or more styles before I found one I was happy with. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  18. The dealership on the corner of Pattaya Tai and 3rd Rd has a selection. I bought 2 there a year ago. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  19. 2 1/2 - Soccer ball (football to you guys) - Tak agrees BTW 4 - Same same 14 - Cigarettes, whiskey or anything sharp (LOL) Also some shirts for all 3 (her suggestion) Cheers : Admiral Ken PS will catch you on chat one night mate, been so busy it's ridiculous - WHAT FUCKING LOW SEASON?
  20. Thanks Martin, You know you're living in Thailand when a resourcefull lady like Moulie can't find out where electoral boundaries are 3 days before an election I love this place. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  21. Just checking for some party requests and remembered the website below. It outlines historical closures for certain days and looks like July 15th AND 16th, this year, are both dry days. The weekend of the 9th and 10th have Pattaya local elections in Zones 2 and 3 but I'm damned if I can find out where Zones 2 and 3 are - any help would be appreciated. Link to historical and future bar closures. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  22. Ah ha, so that's the one that's been hanging around the islands lately that none of the Thai guys know. It's a bloody hard slog for a new business in low season (especially out of Ocean Marina). I wish them the best and hopefully ALL of us will have a good season. Cheers : Admiral Ken
  23. Actually done this many time when travelling to the old USSR. The full-length leather coat I have (with wollen insert) weighs about 4-5kg and is a complete pain to put in checked luggage - unfortuantely it's also too big to put in hand luggage at that weight. The trick is : a) when checking in drape it over your arm. No one will weigh it as it's a clothing item. carry a LARGE plastic bag with you in your hand luggage (or in the coat pocket) - DONT put it in the bag until you are on the aircraft or it will be considered as hand luggage and some Fwit will want to test it (some of them
  24. Well DJ we've finally got the word - NO PROBLEMS. As long as we don't sell or serve alcohol WHILE WE ARE DOCKED AT THE PIER we are OK to go on ANY of the "dry" days. I'm not going into the whys or why nots as it varies depending on the particular reason for the ban of the day. So, for anyone interested, we will be available on ALL dry days. Cheers : Admiral Ken PS On rare days there are small additional restrictions. Contact me for specifics if you are planning an event.
  25. Right on - gotta be careful of the Polish Cheers : Admiral Ken PS In fairness, even a spell check wouldn't have helped him
