Hi Pete Just as a point of interest Dick Smith electronics here in Auckland are selling "CD/DVD Lens Cleaning Sets comprising of a disc with some liquid at costs between NZ$12-24 so it would appear that DIY is an option should this be the problem.There again to pay $24 for such a kit IMO is stupid as to replace unit costs now only $50! and no guarantee that this will solve problem.

It is a separate player and I can see your point about "Tossing" it as I did the very same with the last one when it developed the identical problem.However I am just curious if for the sake of a couple of $ the problem can be solved! BTW the new Toshiba you mentioned has also just come on our market and sells for NZ%99 which equals about $65 U.S. It's definately NOT the disc as same problem with all discs!

Hi guys Not being the brightest person regarding dvd players hence my simple question.My DVD player has recently stopped playing,after inserting a disc the screen then informs me it is reading same,then sometimes Error" or "No disc" appears and cannot view any further! My question is could this be due to the heads requiring a clean if so I will go and buy the required cleaning kit? Thanks

IMHO this place is an excellent location,the only drawback is if it rains hard your in serious danger of drowning!

Don't know about "Flipper Lodge" but "Flipper House" give good low season discounts,ie stay 7 days and pay for 5 only!

No contest stay at "Flipper" at least it's a proper HOTEL. "Secrets" is really a unique GUESTHOUSE!

I hope that this works out for you as anticipated however my experience with these types of "Offers" is that they are fraught with restrictions and time barriers, plus a very limited amount of available seats for this discounted fare.However nothing to lose in trying particulary if your dates are flexible! I wish such a deal was available here in N.Z. but no such luck!

Mactan is the Airport for Cebu and I believe Davau in the southern Philippines also has an international airport.There is also one in the north of Luzon Ilocos Norte I believe but this services mainly the charter flights!

In reality only persons that shit the bed every night require daily linen changes,I'm sorry that this appears to be your ailment J.J. however a visit to the pharmacy for some immodium will save you that added expense!

Regarding Pattaya,if you do not require a pool and are happy in the Soi Dianna area,(as I am) then why not consider one of the excellent "Guesthouses" that abound in the area,most meet your essential requirements and have bigger/better rooms available at up to half the price of a Hotel.!
