Mulphy I agree with most of your posts and we have shared a few drinks together on occasions,however one point that you are way off beam is when you say that 1 year ago Soi LKMetro units were 3/4 empty,if you had said 3/4 FULL then you would have been nearer the figure!

Have seen photos etc regarding View Talay VILLAS,looks excellent with each individual villa being self contained and sporting it's own pool.Price quoted was US$125 a night.

Seems a scam to me! They charge an expensive 36,000bht a month,then demand that you lend them a further 10,000 bht "Deposit" for them to bank earning interest for 1 month.

There's a real estate office in Soi LKMetro,in the left hand corner,opposite "Storm Hotel" that appears to be popular amonst farangs,judging by the customers entering daily.

An APPLE by the pool,sounds like paying through the nose for the priveledge of holidaying at STALAG 17!How any hotel gets away with this behavior in Pattaya in 2006 defeats me.

I agree 100% with your views that the LK group across the board have probably the best value for money rooms in Pattaya,however IMHO they also have by far the worst staff in their reservation depts.
