Just this minute had a reply to my price query for the month of October,these prices are for a room in the old wing. Between 1 night and 3 weeks 800 bht per night. for a stay of 1 month 21000 bht.

I must have somehow mis-read your posting where-in you stated that you were arriving in Thailand on 1/1/06 for 10 days,as that would mean that the xmas and new years EVE gala dinners were completed,or did you just forget that posting? or maybe that wasn't your 1st trip! Must agree Floyd when I flew Apr/May on same flight as you (989) the premium cabin was completely empty both ways,however in fairness cattle class was also sparcely populated both ways,good for us but makes one wonder how much longer Thai will persevere if it is constantly a losing route. Btw was it you I saw in 2 photos on the recent FLB bar crawl to Ban Chang??

Another suggestion is to get to check-in as early as possible and politely request an "Exit seat",works for me every time,cannot be booked in advance.Plenty of leg room and on a long flight well worth the inconvenience of extra time to kill at airport.Also works on outward leg from Bangkok.

Strange posting this one,I suspect Big Dusa just shitstirring again and attempting to elecit sympathy for the 2nd class airplane maker (Boeing) which has been steadily losing ground to a far SUPERIOR planemaker for many years. Suggest members read a lengthy post by "Sully" posted on the AC2 site concerning his diabolical experiences with this so called Airline,of flights between Clark and Bangkok! Also posts under the "Nic" of Sullo here so a PM will also explain the problems encountered.

Same as me I only drink and smoke when in Pattaya,twice a year for 4 weeks each time.I am lucky to have strong will to be able to do this,also on doctors advice. Like many others live a very frugal life here,and I am on a pension.
