Have stayed at malibu , as said get an all in deal at an agents in Pattaya. I went with an agents in soi 8 next to sunshine hotel . The baht bus fare is high on Samet . I hired a bike , also take mosquito spray , Joe

Think I turned right just just outside ? there is a booth there , you que up , you get a price , and the girl writes down you hotel in thai for the driver . I also print off hotel address and phone number , as things can go wrong with pick ups its good to have a backup plan . Joe

Agree , what I'm on about is the state of the car used to pick you up . The main reason I would pre book a car would be to save time , and have been let down by Hotel pick ups in the past as well as prebooked drivers from second rd I find it best just que at the taxi rank , and get a cab for 1500 baht , if you wish to have control of what car you get into . When staying in BKK , get a map ,( look up "cool and groovy maps company") thay have a good map and list all the main thing to see and do. day time and at night ' they also do a map of Pattaya The best way to get around BKK . is on the sky train and sub way . Joe

Bikes on Samet where 100 baht an hr 500 a day . quads 1000 a day . night time rideing was something else . I go with ting on the get your own helmet . I take mine with me to LOS . Joe
