Bikes on Samet where 100 baht an hr 500 a day . quads 1000 a day . night time rideing was something else . I go with ting on the get your own helmet . I take mine with me to LOS . Joe

L O S = land of smiles , There are many ways of geting to Pattaya , the best way I've had was with a pick at the airport from a service by Lost in space , just look up his post . If you do take a cab from the airport , print off your hotel detals , and walk out of the airport to the taxi stand outside , you will to stoped on the way by touts , saying" taxi sir" , just say no thanks and walk on . at the stand the girl will ask you where to . and she write it down in thai for the driver , she will also give you the price . the price at the stand is set . about 1400 baht

Just done a Samui trip , Price for one way trip from Pattaya was 3000 baht , this was with Bangkok air and inc minibus to airport . I booked it with JK travel soi 8 . The best way to get to your hotel in Samui I found, was the airport mini bus . at the checkout desk . Think about Lamai as an area to stay . you can get around on foot there , has a great beach .
