The 2 Toy bars are good. One near Soi Diana Inn on 2 nd road, and the other on the corner of soi 3 and 2nd road near Sabailand and Big C

BA seem to be having a lot more sales these days. But when there own staff admit that the Business Class ' package ' they offer isn't a match on the Mid east + Oriental airlines, it says a lot. After this years trip i shall be avoiding them for another 10 years before relenting for a trial run.

Have traveled twice with EVA Business before, both great experiences. Avoid BA, used them last time as i got a discounted ticket. Worst Business class i have ever been with.

Pretty sure Toy bar is on the corner of soi3 now. They used to play in the soi 2 complex before the hotel went up there. Same owner as the Toy bar nearly opposite Mike Shopping Mall. The music there is more traditional mainstream stuff. useful for taking a girl to just go to, sit back and go with the flow etc

Toy bar opposite Big C on the corner of soi 3 is very good. Pop is the main man but Nui the other guitarist is brilliant. Lucifer on Walking street has live music 6 nights a week At the end of Walking Street is the Rolling Rock [ ? ] bar. Used to be called Rolling Stone.

Just returned from an overnight trip to the River Kwai organised by this outfit. Two friends have never travelled outside Pattaya, so i thought a trip to the River Kwai would show them a bit more of Thailand. This Company claim to specialise in this area. We booked a tour that included the main historical sites, and spent the night on a floating hotel in the National Park. After being picked up at 05.30 we soon discovered that we were not the only ones on the tour as promised, but part of a full minibus. No courier to explain anything, but we soon discovered that the Company had combin

arrived on Friday, staying in the Evergreen wing. no noise in the hotel, its by the pool you become aware of it. no where near as bad as when they used to drive in loads of piles, maybe thats finished now.

just arrived for my annual visit. the place is so quiet now. all the Mamsans say how bad it is. typical thailand still building bars and hotels when the place is becoming a ghost town
