  2. Same deal from Hawaii, not sure about the rest of the US but I think so. I upgraded my ticket next month for 15000 miles. Lady said the deal is running till the end of September for people in Hawaii.
  3. Some of these threads are about Mr. Toom, this is about Mr. T. Different guy, I have used them both. But then again, it is stated that the drivers are different in post 5.
  4. Price range would be good. One man's cheap is another man's expensive. For me I think around 1500 THB-1600 THB is cheap anything below that is a risky crapshoot.
  5. i have only stayed at the dynasty grand inn and for the price they charge, if you book off of the link provided i would stay at adelphi and day over dynasty and i have stayed in both.
  6. Azzey, this is the hotel you are asking about. It is about just across from a 7-11 on Soi 8 right side walking from 2nd Road. I recognize it from going there a few months ago as some friends were staying here: http://www.eastinypattaya.com/bella.htm 3 on Soi 8, confusing ain't it. It's a lucky thing I've seen it so I can recognize the pictures.
  7. Definitely correct. A nun named Ng Mui created Wing Chun. It is called the girl fighting style, because the movements are very easily learned and the very first student was a student named Yim Wing Chun, hence the name Wing Chun or Wing Tsun.
  8. I was looking at Aldephi Suites as well, but due to opening very recent I have not seen much as if the hotel is guest friendly or not. Maybe Swiss Grottino. More in the Cowboy are on Soi 19 but I do not find it an issue as you have the Skytrain and by the time that closes taxi's are fine as very little traffic. 1950 a night, not sure what amenities are important to you though.
  9. OK fair enough, I think cause I was just considering the fact that the OP is probably sharp enough to figure out low from high season?
  10. Like knortyboy said, it's as safe as Pattaya is at night so just use your common sense and not walk around like your eyes don't work.
  11. No that is considered high season, this is their newer site. I believe their low season is from about 1 April to 31 October, but not sure. http://www.dynastygrande.com/rate.html
  12. In Bangkok, Dynasty Grand is closer to Nana but the low season price is 2280 per room, so that is a little more than you asked. Nana, Dynasty Inn is also good and even closer to Nana, but never stayed at either so can't give any opinion. Swiss Grottino is on Soi 19 1950 baht this is the only hotel that I'm positive meals are not included in their price. Livingstones Soi 33 1800. Townlodge 1800 THB but at the very end of Soi 18. Majestic Suites Sukhumvit going towards Soi 6 from Soi 4 on the same side as NEP prices start at 1315. The bug thing is kind of questionable to me, I even hear ho
  13. In Bangkok I don't know too many who will give you all that for 1600 THB. Maybe Majestic Suites, but I think you would have to stay in their smallest room.
  14. I have used his services about 4 times now, and have not experienced one problem with him. In fact usually his driver is waiting for me. Hurry up. Definitely would not hesitate to use him again.

  16. http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...=swiss+grottino http://www.grottino.com
  17. Majestic Grande for up to 3500 THB. I'd say it's about 45-50 meters to Nana and and about 60 or so meters on Soi 2 to Sukhumvit. Gulliver's is quite a ways in from Sukhumvit, but you should still be able to walk down Soi 5 from Majestic Grande to Gulliver's within 15-20 minutes depending how fast you walk.
  18. From your greeting I assume you're from Hawaii like me http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...=21018&st=0
  19. Spot on, that's why I asked the question. A little confused. Maybe the way I read the post.
  20. So that would be Mr. Tooms fault?
  21. http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...dotel&st=25 The guest thing was spoken about here.
  22. I take that back, go here and you can see some really cheap bungalows though I'm sure they aren't all that great but for 500 THB what can you possibly complain about http://wikitravel.org/en/Ko_Samet#Budget_2 I haven't heard of any of these resorts so you will have to google it, just like I googled 'cheap accomodations in koh samet.' I have interest in the island as I am going there in a couple of months but am staying in a much more expensive price ranged hotel.
  23. 30 minutes? Do you know how big Koh Samet is? About double that and you should be able to walk around the whole island. Personally I'd rather stay at Saikaew Beach which is on Hat Sai Kaew. Vongduen beach (Malibu) is too far for my taste as the roads are pretty messed up and not paved there so they are really made for driving. If you have a motorbike, OK, if not that is a very far walk to town. If you want to look for 500 baht, you should probably look in to Samed Cliff or Saikaew Villa. Even this is cheap to me, but at Silversand http://www.silversandresort.com/prices.html http:
  24. How close to Hat Sai Kaew and how much were you planning on spending?
