  1. It isnt really a trek and you don't need to go all the way to soi buahkow. If you cannot walk straight through the Areca lodge just turn left out of their driveway and then just at the edge of their property turn left down a laneway and this runs straight along to soi 15 so i presume the entrance will just be on the left.
  2. You quote staff salary at bht 22,000 for 3 staff, now surely you would need 2 staff for cleaning 22 rooms and public areas, stairs reception etc, which means 1 staff member only for everything else i.e. reception, showing of rooms to prospective guests, checking mini bar etc and signing them out etc so how many hours per day(7 days per week,365 days per year) be expected to work? and obviously there are no sales of beer etc at all for the guests which COULD make a huge diference in turnover.
  3. I believe the "tax" component covers all charges through the airport I.E security charge ,passenger movement etc.at least it does here in Australia, plus incoming flights have any "tax" built into their fares as they are not shown seperately.
  4. So you are saying you change your sheets and towels at home every day? no wonder you keep pratting on about how much money you need to live there, most of it must be on laundry bills.
  5. so if you thought the price was too much why did you agree to using them and secondly then go and add a tip?
  6. Might all be good hotels mick but no way would I personally stay in 3 different hotels over 7 nights, likely to spend more time moving than enjoying. Ted
  7. Same throughout the network, you have to pay any increase in the fare between what you origianly booked and what they are asking at the time of changing. Air Asia Thailand are increasing their prices on some routes by a very large percentage, i booked, and used, 2 flights from bkk to bali last year both at BT 1990 plus taxes etc, earlier this year they put the flights up to BT 3107 and since then they have put them up to BT 3857 (or close enough to that) so hope that this isnt a bad sign for the rest of the flights throughout Thailand.
  8. So did you approach any of them before posting on here?
  9. I believe the website is a genuine one and not a scam, however it is NOT MR T-TAXI,this has been posted elsewhere,or maybe here, and it is a competitors website.
  10. Do you get many no-shows to your new beachfront hotel? or are they all driven directly their in one of your new taxicars?
  11. So you are not going to renovate your hotel after all because you dont own it? I happen to know of at least two buildings in soi metro that are extending and neither are owned by the people doing the extensions
  12. My information is that there are several different owners of the properties in soi metro, that is of course unless they all have a master lease from the lengkee family and are allowed to sub lease the properties which I very much doubt.
  13. I doubt that Metro apartments will have any walk in rooms
  14. Hi Mick, CN Hotel has been good enough for me and mine the couple of times we have been to phuket, you will be ripped off far too much, especially at xmas time,in Phuket without paying too much for a room in my opinion. Free transport from the airport with a booking of 3 nights or more,or was last year anyway. Breakfast was decent also and hotel is on a soi only about 150-200 metres from the top of bangla road. Ted
  15. Oy woos where were YOU for THE birthday, bloody party pooper.
  16. You may not miss the 12.00 bus as it is sometimes late and your flight may be a little early, but if you do missit there is another at 2 pm.
  17. Well this little black duck, from perth, will be there also from may 15
  18. Officially you need an ongoing flight to gain admittance, but, I personally have never been asked to show it. The airline Might refuse you to board their aircraft leaving Australia as technically they are responsible for taking you back if refused entry. If you only go on a "visa exempt" stamp on arrival it is for 30 days and then if you do a visa run, overland, you will only get 15 days upon re-entry,however you would get another 30 days if you fly back into the kingdom. So my opinion would be to get a tourist visa of 60 or 90 days (not sure if you have a choice or only the one avai
  19. Not as cheap as mr T taxis who I have used several times, always on time and good cars and drivers, but can you explain how you will get out quicker the second time? Mr T has been waiting at the gate with aboard with my name on it so fail to see how anything can be quicker than that.
  20. And that used to be air asia to macau, now air asia flies DIRECT to hong kong,as well as to macau, so easier and presumably cheaper to go direct.
  21. Well just tell her that your hard on was a fake also thanks to viagra and or cialis
