I dont know the details 100%, however, I have a bar and my business partner has gone about her business acquiring a music license, she had to take photos of the bar/speakers/music system and one of herself! She had to go to Nongprue District office first (where we are), then off to Banglamung Office and she was finally sent somewhere else...took nearly a whole day to complete and it cost 169 baht including a nice new frame. I am well aware of this place and have visited on several occasions...of late the girls have started to leave one by one, I think he has 3 now. For me, there is nothing special about this place apart from its novelty of being a small single floor town house with a few seats/girls and bar...many other bars on the 'Darkside' of town. Directions: Follow all the way up Nern Plab Wern (maybe4/5 miles) until you see a Honda Motorcycle dealership on the right, take your next left and the bar is about 100 yards on the right.

I have had a bike stolen...I had 'additional' insurance...these are the facts of my situation! Bought new Nouvo 56k, came with standard insurance (not theft) 350baht, asked for additional for theft cost 1400 baht for 1 year, 2200 baht for 2 years...Insurance was taken out on the day of purchase for 1 year. Bike was stolen 11 months later...Insurance was paid out 3 months later (in case of the bike being found etc) though the cheque for 41k was dated 1 month after reporting the theft. Cheque cleared, Kolobos happy! Always take out two years insurance on a new bike (a mistake i made by taking only one on my Honda)...I went to re-new my theft insurance of my Honda Wave a few days before it expired...they would not re-new it as it has to be applied for exactly 7 days before it expires...TiT.

Sorry people for going on about this place though if you have not been...you must make the effort! The wench and I spent our main part of New Years Eve at this gaff munching our way through some of the best food I have had in a long time. We were there from 8.45pm and were subject to 9 courses of great food accompanied by superb service for nearly 3 hours. I have attached a copy of the menu for that evening which was priced at 790 baht. If you don't already know, it is across from Xcyte Nightclub on 3rd road between Pattaya Klang and Pattaya South, hours are 3pm - 11pm. This was probably my 15th visit to this place and I am yet to be disappointed with quality or price.

This is correct...Bruno type fodder for a peasant pocket...without doubt some of the greatest food I have had in Pattaya for the money. This place is getting busier by the day, may even have to start making reservations soon. 5* for The Cherry on 3rd road opposite Xcyte (before anyone asks)

Had a suberb meal at THE ROCKHOUSE the other day...couldn't help but try and fill the last slice of my PIZZA 'R' US (Soi Khao Talo) pizza down my gullet...whilst munching on a big mac with fries and a double whopper, slugged down with a suberbly watered down ice cold pepsi (Burger King supplied)... The only place to eat your convenience food is in the convenient ROCK HOUSE on SOI LK METRO, the only place for the cheapest beer lao in town with such genial hosts and a fantastic foray of follies... Don't forget the hype...forget all the shite...and get yourself into Mr Mulphys gaff, where you're sure to have a laugh!!!!

There is a bakery on Soi Bowling Green which has breakfasts from all over the world, cheap and tasty too!
