Tequila Reef All You Can Eat Thanksgiving Buffet
glynbuk replied to tequilareef's topic in Restaurants and food
I prefer the vat to be included in the price that is shown, rather than hidden at the bottom of the page. Our vat is 17.5% and due to rise to 20% in January, most of Europe has 20% and Irelands is due to rise to 24% in 2014 i hear. -

Sounds good, wish i could be there Always wonder why they cannot show the price which includes the 7% vat rather have a headline 495 baht and the you have to piddle about adding 7% which makes 529.65 baht ???? -

Yes, two glyns could be a problem if your being chased by anyone for doing something wrong I don't want to put my name on the FLB board and some nutter comes in and says " where's that fucking Glyn, i am going to kill him" ----------- Seems to be a few arriving 24/25th December, whats it like flying/landing on Xmas eve / Xmas day
-
Hope its sorted, i normally buy bensons too, or if they are not available then the "london" ciggies
-
This forum is bloody fast for me

Good point, the chances though of the price being the same for the Xmas period from a booking in July is probably no chance. I booked my flight on the 30th June and Thai is not showing up at all, i think i got the last business ticket on my flight, i did check Emirates for prices for the same date and today they are about £700 pounds dearer return than they were. Plus - i just checked westeast online for the 14th December and qatar flights in economy from manchester are £1447 and from London the cheapest is £1388. Compared to the price for the 16th at £1533 from London and £159
-
Agreed, he must try Qatar and see what they say, however, i booked my Thai flight via Westeast because they were a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the same flight through Thai airways direct on their website. So the situation may be that they will have a lower initial fee for changing but it could mean that the flight price difference was a lot dearer. He cannot lose anything by asking though
-
Terms and conditions vary, i booked my flight with westeasttravel on Thai air and in business class, using checkmytrip.com and your Amadeus reference which you should have then you will find the fare conditions, Mine are So for me, outbound date change is £175 PLUS any increase in fares/taxes.

I have been looking for a "who's coming in December" thread and don't seem to be able to find one So, what is planned, who is arriving, any parties, Christmas lunches/New Year's eve piss ups, where is it happening. Wheels up for me 5 weeks today (16th December) and arrive Friday 17th December, leave on the 2nd January. Staying in the Sandy Spring Soi 13 sea view suite, same as last year, love the place and position, nothing finer early in the morning than to sit on the balcony of my room with a cup of tea and overlooking the sea, smoke a few cigarettes and watch the world go

This is the board forum area for transport and i would guess your post will be moved there soon http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.php?showforum=50 If you mean the airport to Pattaya then i used Limo Pattaya last year and they were good and will use them again this year. http://www.thelimopattaya.com/ But there are many good options in the above forum threads.

High End Watch repair in Thailand
glynbuk replied to ALANPEN's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
No idea, whoever said Tukcom had high end authorised watch dealerships must be a bloody idiot, but for me i would probably wonder why to just put a link in a wristband of a watch anyone would trawl round all the "high end watch shops" in bangkok, hoping they had the exact same strap they would be willing to take one link out of and put it in his watch. I still think Sarah's or a shop like it would be the best bet for a copy of a high end link or a copy new wrist band, and Sarah's is around the tukcom area -
High End Watch repair in Thailand
glynbuk replied to ALANPEN's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
If you have the extra links then most places should do it for you, if you need to find a link to match then you may be better buying a whole new watch strap. MBK Centre in Bangkok has a large number of watch dealers http://www.mbk-center.co.th/en/floorplan/ and i would assume TUK.com in Pattaya has the same, plus there is a thread about fake watches and people like Sarah who has a shop and repair/sells watches http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...&hl=watches -
The Erawan is here(as far as i can see, never been there) http://www.pattaya.bangkok.com/erawan-hotel/location.htm Which is at the other end of Pattaya from soi 2, so you would need to get to 2nd road and catch a baht bus down to soi 2 http://www.pattayaphotoguide.com/?PS2RUB7skc3E Should take about 10 minutes with all the stops and traffic, and the baht bus is cheap as hell. Chemistry, you probably should also check this link and join the full board for much more information http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5880

Used Limo pattaya last trip and they were good and on time for both journeys http://www.thelimopattaya.com/index.php?la...e&Id=561301

I agree with you, a room without a balcony is no good at all. Nothing finer than sitting on the balcony after getting up in the morning and relaxing in the evening. nothing i know of within your price range that you have not already listed. Last trip and this coming trip i have the Sandy Spring hotel with a sea view suite, works for me. http://www.scandibar.com/hotel/sandy/
