I have just recevied confirmation for my hotel in Pattaya for July. The problem is I received an E voucher with the email but it looks abit screwed up.

It confirms my hotel on some lines of the email and says this is the e voucher to present to the hotel etc etc, but also has loads of weird texts such as lines of AD0APQA9AD0APQA9AD0APQA9AD and more of stuff like that.

Anyone have any ideas?

I booked it through sawadee.com.

Is this voucher ok to use?

Thanks everyone.

ok cool, my only worry is that my E Voucher does'nt look very professional.

When u received your voucher what did it haveon and look like?

Mine starts with loads of weird texts then says my name and says this a evoucher for your reference, The says present your passport upon check in. The some more weird texts. Then names the hotel and its address and telephone number. Then more weird texts. The goes on saying holder of this voucher will be granted the following requirments. The states my name and address and when I am going to check in and out of the hotel and the type of room I have booked.

The thing that is worring me is all of the weird texts and letters, I dont know if it hasnt scrambled properly and the words r all fucked up!

This could be some security code, or a fuckup. MAybe it is a (misnomed) .pdf or Word Document that you opened with the wrong program? Check out this possibility first. What is the name of the attachment? Does it have any of the usual suffixes? Maybe it has a suffix that does not correspong to any of your installed programs?

Other than that, just send an email inquiry to the company. They should be able to explain!

I think that CheshireTom is probably correct.

Try Start->Settings->Control Panel->Regional and Language Options. There are a couple of boxes to check for supplemental language support.

Also, set this in Internet Explorer if you use it, (after adding Thai language support in Windows)

View > Encoding > Autoselect

Make sure Autoselect is ticked

I found this out when my TG was here and couldn't view Thai websites correctly even thought Thai language support was enabled.

I dont really remember the details but i had about 4 forms, first I paid a deposit

recieved confirmation, then paid remainder recieved confirmatiom.

Then another confirming deposit and full payment.

Then E-voucher that you present to the hotel as long it shows you have paid and the dates that you want, you really should have no problems.

sawadee seems a reputable company just relax and enjoy your trip.
