Best Breakfast?

Try the Lek Hotel on 2nd Road, All you can eat buffet breakfast 95 baht, open 7am to 1 pm yes 1pm. There is so much food, you would not believe it.

Also they do an all you can eat buffet dinner 160 baht, open 6pm to 10pm ?

Although its a hotel, non residents are more than welcome, I stayed there a couple of weeks ago, 1000 baht per night (without breakfast) in the new wing, which also had an inroom safe. When I paid off my GF, the reception rang to ask if everything was ok, and only then gave her the ID card back.

So even if you are not a Cheep Charlie, Room+B/f+Dinner, = 1255 baht approx £18

Excellent value

Lek hotel,Diana inn and Apex buffet style breakfasts are good value for the money only if you like (what the Thais call)American breakfast,Hot dogs(minature) style sausage and frazzled bacon,Scrambled egg,Cereals,25% juice,Good to take TG's there because they have Thai food also in the buffet. No English style bangers though!Best english style places are The Rising Sun and The Ritz both on soi Yamato. The Ritz do awesome Bacon and sausage sandwiches(on real fresh bread).Good full English breakfast there also. The Rising sun has been a fave of mine for years.Although it's ghanged owners over the years it hasn't changed breakfasts!!!95 baht for the English special,Bacon, eggs, tomato(tinned),sausage,2 pieces of toast with marmalade and a mug of Tea or Coffee! On soi 8 look no further than The pig and whistle B100 for English breakfast with Wiltshire sausage, bacon, tomato, beans, egg, toast.Tea or coffee is an extra 20 Baht(pot) though.
