Going to Manila/Angeles and KLM has by far the best connection for me. I have however read several bad reviews about the airline recently.

Is it so bad that is is worth to have a four hours more of travel time on another airline?

Opinions welcome

Thanks

Never flown KLM,

I wanted to fly KLM from my local airport(NORWICH) on the 28th december and the cheapest return flight i could find was £1000(economy)

Im booked with etihad flying from gatwick on 28th december and its cost me just £375 return

No reason why i would choose KLM at that price, the difference in price could almost get me 2 return flights next year in low season.

I flew KLM once Edb/Ams/Bkk.

It was the most uncomfortable flight I have ever experienced in my life.

The plane was old and the seats were knackered - like sitting on a plank of wood for 11 hours! :beer

I've flown KLM the last few times. Seemed to be the best one for getting where I need to in the UK. I've been lucky and managed to get a legroom seat every time. It seems that they have not bothered modernising the cabins for the BKK routes.....

Wasn't the worst flight I've been on though (internal American flights top my 'worst' list). Knock yourself out with a few wines and a sleeping pill and wake up refreshed the next day in BKK.

I find these very good.

Hi Guys,

I was flying twice with them this year London - Bangkok. As their flight continues to Taiwan - the flight is always uncomfortably packed, no place to stretch.

I don't mind anything - but they allow only 5kg hand luggage which is a pain if you are planning to do a shopping spree in Bangkok airport duty free shops. They wanted me to leave all my goods at the airport - and only when I demanded a next day flight they took my larger luggage undercarrage.

I find that Lufthansa has cheap flights from the UK is October and November (with a stopover in Frankfurt)
