I tried to look for the answer on Thai Air but did not see it.

If I pay for serval tickets with my card and my Royal Orcid number, lets say 6 tickets, do I (my acount ) get all the the flying miles?

to get miles youse gottabe the passenger. all you will get is the visa miles if you in that program.

Benefits of putting them under your number are:

Other punters flying on tickets under your number can find their reservation by asking for your name as well as their own,

or if you are trying to sit together having it all under your number will help in making the seat assignments. i.e. after they are made they won't change them becuase they will show that they have to move all of you not just one person. :chogdee2 :chogdee2.

Thai and Singapore Airlines share the same umbrella loyalty program, (Star Alliance), so perhaps Thai has a similar procedure to SQ.

With SQ, BEFORE buying the tickets, all you do is sign up all of your party in the FF program as individual members, (it's free of course, and a membership number is created instantly).

Then get all the others to go online and select you as their 'nominee'. It's a fairly simple process.

Then you buy all the tickets, quoting their membership numbers as well as yours. The points will be spread equally to all of you at this point.

Finally, get them to go online again and assign their points to you. That's it - you'll be credited with everyones points.

I dont know where your flying from, but I get 1 ret ticket from Brisbane to Bkk after about every 4 paid trips.

I pay for my group on my card (three times so far). I don't get the miles for the trip. The passenger gets the miles IF they fly.

I have not taken a flight that I was booked on and not gotten the miles even though I paid. Fuck you very much British Airways you scum sucking shitbags (this is the policy of most airlines, I just HATE fucking British fucking semen snorting Air... asslicking you should never fucking fly with these pussbags ...ways). Did I mention that they will LIE to you over and over and over and over again? Did I mention that the "manager" if you can call a used asswipe a "manager" at JFK is a scrotum licking twit? Did I also mention that this poor excuse for vaginal discharge of a company just might have given me fucking Tourette's asslicking syndrome?

I do have a United Airlines visa that gives me 1 mile per $ spent, or 2 miles per $ spent on united tickets. I used this to book everyones flight on Thai and picked up a few miles.

Just been on to the Thai Airways website and one of the FAQ states

I am also a member of other FFP Program. Can I transfer or combine mileage from one account to another?

No, it is not possible to transfer miles from one account to another or from one FFP Program to another.

I have seen somewhere that Thai were introducing a nominee programme and it would be operable through the website but can't find any trace of it ....perhaps it is coming soon
