Bourbon ST.Hotel/Bangkok

Greetings fellow esteemed......members!!!

 

I am thinking about a few days in Bangers.....and was wondering if the Bourbon St. Hotel near Washington square......is worth a visit.......

 

Has anyone anything to report?

 

Are they guest friendly?

Are the rooms nice?

 

Any info would be highly appreciated.......

Have stayed there a few times. I like the rooms very accomodationg although the walls are a bit thin. Extremelly guest friendly no problem at all. The breakfast is really good as well as the rest of the menu. I think on tuesdays they do an all you can eat mexican buffet which is decent. Great food and great people. I highly recommend.

Can't smoke in the downstairs area so they don't get my custom. Looks good though.

Stayed there recently. It's ok, the rooms are a bit on the older side, but for around 1000 Bt ok. I like the restaurant, Breakfast quite good, and free wireless Internet thrown in was a definitive bonus for me.

I will consider it again next time in Bangkok, but I rather try to get the Swiss Grottino.

bob2005 When did they change the smoking policy? Every time I have been there I have been able to smoke. Is this a new policy they have?

I went there about a year ago to eat and wanted a beer and smoke at the bar first but they said 'no smoking'. Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick and they meant bj's.
