From Vancouver to Bangkok In July

Recommended Posts

I wanted to book with Eva Air Evergreen Deluxe leaving Vancouver July 7th or 8th. My quoted price is 2300.00, I just about shit when I heard that. Does anyone know of a much cheaper flight from Vancouver to Bangkok in July. It seems if I fly out of LAX or Seattle it becomes way cheaper. However as this flight will be long as it is, :brokeheart :ang2 I would just like to fly out of Vancouver. Fellows Canucks help me!!!!!!!!!! Please

One of the ways around the problem is to fly out of Seattle.

I booked a flight from Seattle to Bangkok wiht JAL for about $700 cheaper than flying from Vancouver. The fucked up thing is that the first leg of the flight is from Seattle to Vancouver.

My plan is to fly from Edmonton to Vancouver using my Aeroplan miles and meet up with my flight in Vancouver and then I save myself an overnight stay in Seattle and don't have to deal with US customs.

There are some other cheap flights out of seattle and San Francisco as well. If you have frequent flyer miles you can use to get to either of these locations it can be well worth it in the savings.

Thanks for the suggestions, however I booked my trip from Vancouver on Eva Evergreen Deluxe, leaving July 8th and coming back July 30. My brother was kind enough to let me use 100,000 points and I just have to pay him $1000.00 Canadian..yeha!! <grin

So.. if any of you are around pattaya in this time period I would like to sahre a beer, as I will be alone. Never been so far away and alone, a little freaked out about that.

Cheers

David

LOL. Only in Canada, you say!

Good move Davieboy.

Next time try TD Travel Direct in Richmond very near IKEA.

Thanks for all the tips and suggestions, its much appreciated. I did look at China Air, but the connections were too long. With Eva and the Evergreen I connect in 2.5 hours, and from Bangkok to China its Elite class, so I may be able to get some sleep. Last time I went was three years ago, and I could not sleep, boy was I tired, even to tired to look at the girls. This time I hope it will be different. Thanks Braveheart for leaving some beer and a few girls for me, If I see them walking bowlegged, I will know that you were with with them :rotflmao

So now to choose the hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya, after so long in the plane I will need to sleep more than anything else. Yes I know its a waste of time but I have to recharge before I let loose.

Once again thank you for your help, looking forward to meeting some of you face to face at Cherry bar or FLB.
