I agree with Gabor that transportation is a pain in the ass in some areas. If the condo complex is NOT on the baht bus route I would keep looking. The motorcycle taxi driver was ripping me off for 50 baht for a ride to a baht bus route and I HATE to ride on motorcycles.

Have a look at Jomtien Beach Condo's which are situated between Soi 10/11. IMHO this is a much better complex than View Talay being very well maintained with two nice swimming pools.

 

I am of course extremely biased as I have just paid a deposit to rent for 6 months wef Ist October. I have a well equiped twin condo on the 9th floor for 12000 baht a month.

It comes complete with a gorgeous TGF but you will have to find your own one of those as mine is taken!
