they charged me for 2 tickets!

I definitly only bought 1 ticket.. after about 20 phone calls (average of half an hour for each call) and 5 months wait i was refunded money for extra ticket less an admin fee of £30. i'm unhappy about admin fee and have already wasted another hour on phone today but got cut off before sorted. they blame ethiad airways but i feel they have messed me around with this admin fee and hours and hours of phone calls which very little info given to me each time.

 

 

they agreed immediatley they were in the wrong charging me for 2 tickets, yet they gave very little info to me about a refund blaming the airline- i.e. they should have refunded me immediatley and got the money back off the airline themselves as it was their mistake.

I can only speak as I find. I've used them 8-10 times with no problems. Sorry you had some.

Never had a problem with them myself. I think they are just the agent, I believe the actual carrier takes the money out of your bank account or credit card. I could be wrong though.

Another good reason to use a CC for booking flights. Let your CC issuer do the chasing to get a refund. (Trailfinders don't have any CC charges ...... any others?)

This industry seems to be about the only one in the UK that, more often than not, has a surcharge for credit card use. Any ideas as to why that is the case ?

cennn3, you may be correct. i booked a flight thru expedia between HKG & BKK with ethiopian airlines. the airline charged me & not expedia but the fuckin airline continued charging every 7/8 months. luckily my c/c company sorted it all out!

Never had any problems with them myself. last may booked Etihad flights with them, only for Etihad to change my flight times at the last minute. Got full refund from Expedia with no problems, booked again with them for next month.

the meals were actually quite good along with the flight itself!
