BKK and Thai air lounge question

Recommended Posts

When I arrive at BKK I will have 2 to 3 hours to wait before catching a Thai Air domestic flight to Chiang Rai.

If I pay for a Business class ticket will I be able to go into the lounge or are there no lounges on the domestic side?

The reasoning being, 3345 baht for economy, 4345 for Business, only £14 extra so if I can go into the lounge may be worth it.

TIA

Cant answer if you will be able to use it but if you were transit then you would be able.

It is bloody huge and takes about 3 minutes to walk from one end to the other with several food and booze stations but sadly not one smoking room which pissed me off. However it was very busy even with the size of it but this may have been the time of the day.

Hi,

I've recently booked a return flight with Thai from Bangkok to Khon kaen business class, this was a free flight using air miles that were due to expire. From looking on flyertalk it seems that there is a domestic Business lounge at the new airport, for 1000 baht it's got to be worth it to get away from the crowd, plus there will be drinks & snacks, go for it and let us Know what you think of the lounge.

SS Many thanks for that, if paying business fare then I want a freebie lounge pass because so many TGs need my money

I may fly AirAsia for 999 baht then pay to go in the lounge, that would be worth it because there is an extra hours wait for the cheap charlie flight.
