I have heard everything from its the best party hotel in Pattaya to it's the worst place ever to stay. The good reports mention you can watch the go-go on TV and "order up" your favorite. ON-site disco and theme rooms make it sound great. The naysayers mention the bugs and the multiple "souvenirs" all around the room that the BGs tend to pick up/use (at a very high price). I would love to hear some recent reviews...

I have stayed in Penthouse hotel for 2 days in August.

 

Room type "Pattaya", lot of mirrors, good bed and clean room (no bugs in room, this was my fear before go to the hotel), the tv have 2 porno channel plus the channel that show the Kitten club (but the images was dark and disturbed, impossible to see good the girls of the gogo, the channel of the gogo is very useless) and sexy cartoons.

Is right that room is full of souvenirs but if you take a good girl probably dont take nothing.

The staff was ok but problems for to pay on check out.

I gave 2000 bath of deposit before go to the room (i stayed 2 day)

The room was 1200bath/day but when i paid on the check out there was a lot of service & tax and a use of minibar (never used). At the end i paid the room more than 1500 bath/day

I think of return to the Penthouse hotel the next year but i can say that room at the end are exprensive (but the hotel is very good for fuck)

I stayed in Room 518, the Patpong Party Suite for 3 days. I believe the room rate was about 2500/night. No bugs, as frequently reported in the cheaper rooms. The room has a dance podium, love swing, jacuzzi,and mirrored ceiling. The girls I brought up weren't exactly thrilled to see the podium, but YMMV. At least it was good to turn on it's flashing lights for an additional light source (the red room lights are very dim). Jacuzzi was nice for having a girl give you a bath.

 

Awoke about 4 AM from thumping noises from the next room. In the morning, my bar girl said she couldn't sleep because of 'ghosts'.

 

Breakfast served until 2PM, but is poor quality.

 

I don't think I'd care to stay there again, but it was fun to try out.

I stayed there once a few trips back, more as a joke on a freind that had never been to Pattaya before. It's fun for the experience, completely over the top, ....but I couldn't imagine spending more then a night or two there. I had no bugs in my suite , as has been reported by others, and the location couldn't be better.

Stayed one night in September and had no problems. Brought 2 girls up and they never took anything. No bugs. The Jacuzzi was good but I had quite a small one (jacuzzi - that is!). The Podium was great and they both enjoyed the Prno chanell. I had a few DVD'S in my bag anyway and put them on. Did not have any food. The only crticism was that the TV showing Kittens A Go Go was hardly visible, but not worth worrying about as very few lookers. I would recommend it to anyone who has a few extra Baht in their pocket and fancies a 3some for a special treat for a night!!

I was there at the penthouse in October of this year for 8 days, yes there where bugs , I would recommend 1-2 day stay just for kicks . I stayed 8 days because I had pre paided. I will say the staff was nice and gave good service.

I stayed there for one night, had planned for 2 weeks but after 1 night bailed out. Nice sex swing in room & hot tub.

 

Too many bugs in room.

Room dirty

Swimming pool looked like a swamp.

All kinds of junk in the room for the bar girls to latch onto and add to your bill.

Bed was hard

Ceiling leaked water during the night.

 

Other than that the place was fine.

I think that at the end is a matter of luck. Some rooms have bugs...some not.

You can have a room clean and after 1 week the same room can have bugs.

Probably there is a cleaning of the room for the cockroaches if the problem appears.

Penthouse Hotel afterthoughts ;

i have stayed at this hotel quite a few times since i first found it years ago and without trying to steer guys there i would say a few comments. I think is a decent, affordable and fun place to be, don't find any other places like this one, not only in Thailand but in other countries. similar but not with the set up and all the ammenities which the Penthouse hotel offers. those theme rooms are nicely set up for mongering all the way . the longest i've stayed there had been 2 weeks and was very please. most of my visits there have been between 2 to 5 days. as far as the restaurant and the food in general is concern, is just great, don't know why somebody would say that the breakfast buffet is not good, unless you showed up 2 minutes before closing, time i assumed most of the food is gone . let's be reasonable and don't demand perfection on everything. even in the States some so called "high class hotels" with all the stars of the sky are a total rip-off!!. Anyway, agreed that they clutter the rooms with lots of souvenirs, snacks and what not which give some girls sticky fingers, personally never have had this problem and hopefully never will. no problems bringing girls (one time brought 2 for the night) , heard about this bug problem and only one time i found a dead roach (probably from a heart attack watching them porno channells!!!) . Would i stay there whenever i go to pattaya??? Well, i'd say is a prime destination i'd always consider but also i like to experience other hotels in town. Always have a back up place to fall in. one time i couldn't get a room at the penthouse and ended up at the White Inn hotel.

I am going to LOS next month and ciertainly would love to spend a few nights there, won't stay the whole time 'cause i want to try a couple of hotels i have in mind.///

Ive booked my room for a next month. I hope its all its cracked up to be. I also hope it doesnt scare the TGs, if it does oh well they will get over it.

Been there, done that, couple of years ago, but worked out just fine.

 

Not too sure I'd want to stay there now. Not that the hotel has changed, just that the street has changed.

It's no longer ideal for guys who like girls.

Good Afternoon,

 

I have stayed there a couple of times and have had no problems. The only drawback I experienced is that they didn't have in room safes and the the boxes at the reception desk were not open 24 hours.
