The gym at Areca Lodge is very basic, imho. Check out Tonys gym it has all you desire, is well laid out, has a pool and does daily, weekly, monthly and annual membership.

Do not use this link: it's a virus

I went there and it looks like the Bella Villa web site. What virus are you getting when you go there and how is it being detected?

Hmmm, I tried the link again and no virus occurred. Other than that the web page taking forever to load, there doesn't appear to be any problem.

I guess I was wrong.

Best Beach Villa (Soy 5 half way between beach and 2nd) is in the same class as the Areca (and the afore mentioned Bella Villa Prima). The exercise room has some aerobic machines, a mutli-function weight machine (some weird contraption that you use from all four sides for various workouts), free weights and some misc. stuff. Not much, but few others used it so it was OK.

Stayed there 2-1/2 weeks last month and thought the hotel was fine. 1 year old, excellent staff. Pool is shaded before noon and the deck is a little small. Rooms are fine, large, clean with safe. If you want privacy outside your window get a delux room (else you stare into an aparment building next door). Breakfeast was excellent.

[[ Beds are quite firm, which I like, but some might have an issue]]

as I have posted many times before.

gym at mariott is small and lame. Gym on beach road is old and rusted with no a/c. montien has a nice gym many machines and free weight but they are not girl friendly. A-1 cruise ship has a very nice gym elliptical trainiers, stair steppers, treadmills, rowing machines, universal and nautilis as well as free wieghts and classes. Lk metro is suppose to have a decent gym but I have not seen it. hard rock has a decent gym but a little on the small side. small amount of free weights, universal gym treadmill eliptical trainer. Siam Bayshore has tennis courts but the gym is next to useless.
