Mosaik Luxury Serviced Apartments

Recommended Posts

Guest jackjones

For those who like a high quality accommodation, for less the the price of some of the so called bargains that are constantly pushed on these forums, I can recommend Mosaik; http://www.mosaikpattaya.com/

The brand new 30 sq. m. studios(they seem bigger) start from 9,700 baht per month. Electricity is a reasonable 4.5 baht per unit.

ADSL in available in room at an added cost.

Private Keycard entry(no walk of shame) with a doorbell linked to an in-room videophone so that you can screen your guests.

All rooms have cooking facilities in the kitchen corner, a safe and a balcony.

There is lift access to all floors, so no slogging up the stairs in the heat.

For those who need a little more space, the one bedroom luxury apartments are specified at 60, 75 and 80 sq. m. and start from 17,200 baht per month.

For those who insist on even more, the 115 sq. m. 2 bedroom penthouse is available for just over 40,000 baht per month.

Their standard rooms are even cheaper, as indicated on the website.

The rooms are light and bright and very tastefully furnished.

May be a five minute walk to Walking Street.

There are some notable omissions, such as the lack of a pool and maybe a direct telephone line. But with the possibility of ADSL in the room and the ease of use with Thai SIM cards, you are certainly not disconnected.

Just letting you know what's available out there.

I have no connection with the business. I posted it for the purpose of information.

It's not clear as to whether you are in-country and specifically to what the deposit relates.

Booking deposit? Room deposit?

Personally, if this was to leave me with a large amount of Baht at the end of a stay, I would insist that they take a CC imprint or similar instead.

You sure are pushing the place awfully hard for someone with no financial interest. What's up with that?

The place is opposite Tuk Com on Soi Flamingo hotel. I stayed in early June for 2 weeks.

I just turned up and they had 1 lg room available for my period. They were very good value for money but there was a few things i didnt like. The rooms you pay for up front plus you leave a deposit to cover damages and elec / water costs. I also asked about booking on line from the UK and they said i would have to do a bank transfer of the money as they do not take Credit cards. The curtains were very light and let the sun flood in from early morning, i do like curtainsthat block the light out.

Lots of the little ants everywhere too, thou with a can of spray you can solve that problem.

Paying up front just really sucks!!!!!!

Wire transfer to make a deposit????? This is way behind the times IMO.

Take a CC for payment and guarantee and charge it when the customer leaves....what is the big deal here?

That and all the "extra" charges is enough to put me off.

Raise the rates a little bit and provide sheets and towels.......unlimited ASDL time and 2 or 3 times a week cleaning.......might pique my interest more.

But thanks for another option

I would describe it as adjacent to TUKCOM, otherwise your description is good. It's quite close to the Soi Buakhao end of South Pattaya Road.

They need to fix the Credit Card problem. That alone will lose them business.

Agree with the CC comment. Bank transfers are the norm in Thailand, but they have international customers who are used to the convenience of paying with plastic and hate the idea of sending cash anywhere. Plus, having to pay another 2000 baht in charges is off putting.

How do they return some or all of your deposit if you need to cancel?

They need to fix that ASAP.

Personally would be not bothered about the extra charges, as long as they are described clearly beforehand.

The electricity prices are reasonable, unlike some places.

Can someone give me directions to this place. I know it is on Soi Day Night but more detail would be good.

I'm not sure that it is on Soi Day and Night at all. It's on the much nicer Soi to the immediate east, next to TUKCOM.

I'm not familiar with the Soi names around there.

I agree with the poster asking why you have such an interest...I also think it's unfair that you push this place when you've never stayed there...A bit like recommending a restaurant because it has a nice looking menu..IMO, you are not qualified to be promoting this place

Unfair? To whom? To business owners?

The rooms and the prices were checked, deemed relatively good value and then posted for BMs information.

Full contact information is posted, but if a BM asks me a question, it would be rude not to attempt a reply.

As it happens, other board members have stayed there, so they can provide reviews.

I'm sure if you ran a decent business, someone, somewhere might be happy to recommend concern.

Since I have no affiliations, I'm happy to recommend anything I think is good.

If you don't like my posts, click the ignore button. You won't. :)

I am fully aware that you can post whatever you 'think'...However and in my opinion, you and your thread have no credibility

I would be the same with anyone posting about anything that they have no personal experience of...Back to my analogy of a nice looking menu and not eating the food.

So you carry on with your personal campaign

What's the matter, kolobos? No customers in your place?

The info about Mozaik is for information only. No one is forced to look nor stay there.

But if it benefits any BMs, that's a good thing.

Whichever you look at it, it's better value than some other places that claim to be apartments(but are not) and charge similarly monthly amounts.

For instance, I haven't stayed at the Rockhouse, but I've seen the rooms, does that mean that I'm not qualified to comment?

Happily, you are not the arbiter of anything, so I don't need to take notice of your opinion.

At least my posts may be of use to other BMs.

Feel free to continue with your useless posts. :)

"Cheap looms no available" What is cheap to you?

With one side of the Soi almost completely taken up by the TUKCOM building, you are certainly not surrounded. That being said, I don't think that there are any girlie bars on the Soi.

Strange...all my information came from a woman on reception. Security staff who guided around the rooms wasn't said to be gay either.

I think opinions would differ as to whether the one bed luxury apartment was "standard really". :)

19000 baht expensive? Personally, I wouldn't say that an apartment of that quality was expensive at just over £10 per day inclusive.

Depends on the individual's standard.

If you know of better value in a good location, please don't hestitate to post. I'm sure many BMs would be interested.

Myself included.

If you just looking for cheap, try Pattaya Centre Condo. Cheaper? There are nearby rooms for 4500 baht per month.

Gay Staff!! MMM i dont think so. When i was there in June there was 2 women and 1 guy in the office. The guy some afternoons had his gf with him.

And one of the women was married. The 3 women cleaners!!! na i dont thik so, and security ----hey who cares i dont talk to those guys much.

OK i think there was a gay massage over the road so if that makes it a gay area then who gives a shit, they dont interfere with me.

Oh my, you are so correct... I have no customers, so I come and thread fuck you to create interest in my bar! What a fucking idiot.

I agree that what you think is nice, is nice...However if you want to go on a 'helping BM's' campaign, it maybe a good idea to give them other options than just slamming this gaff at 'em...Is it your boyfriend that owns it?

I don't give a fuck, never had, never will, and I certainly don't go out of my way to use these forums to create more business for my bar.

You have issues.

Thankyou for the information,

Dont see why anyone would reply negative comments, theads like this in my view can only help people out. I myself put up a thread on my apartment in Jomtien, just to help any long term stayers out on a certain budget. The acomadation looks nice in a good location, the extra charges seem to creep up which i can see as off putting. However i might go and check out the place as i like where its located....

cheers

Looks good. Thanks for posting. Many places in los dont take credit cards. Last year I took travellers cheques for £1,000 ( 70,000 bht) to pay for up front for the hotel I was staying at. Obviously, you get the cheques replaced if you lse them.

You have issues.

As you know, I have posted many links to accommodation.

You're not just a member of this board. I know that you've seen my other posts helping people with their requests.

It just so happens that these apartments have attracted more comment than some of the others.

Should I abandon a thread that I began because you are jealous of it's success?

I happened upon these apartments whilst leaving the TUKCOM shopping mall and posted the details because I thought the info would be useful for the BMs.

I think anyone neutral visiting this thread can see who has the 'issues'.

This thread is headed; Mosaik Luxury Serviced Apartments, so what exactly would you expect to be discussed here?

You're just making yourself look an ignorant idiot. I don't think anyone, on this evidence, is going to wend their way to your bar on the darkside, to make your acquaintance.

Do yourself a favour, post something intelligent and relevant or make yourself scarce.

As for you noy using the forum to create business for your bar....why is it featured so prominently in your avatar?

Anyway...at least people know how to avoid you more easily.

I personally don't see these rooms as cheap, the cleaning of the room 8 time a month (twice a week ) and laundry add another 2400 baht to the price ,added to the fact that there is no pool make this a place I would not consider, especially as the Gay mafia seem well esconced.

No one wrote that they were cheap. You can get rooms for 2000 baht per month. That's cheap.

But the quality, location and price will suit some. That is what matters.

No accommodation will suit every taste. Not everyone swims, but some people value quality, security and location.

There is generally a premium on those things. I certainly don't think the apartments represent poor value.

I don't know why people don't just post better value alternatives, if they know of them and wish to impart the information, instead of purely negative posts.

Gay Mafia? Are you suggesting that there is a predominently Gay organised crime 'family' in the area?

Why are people so willing to illustrate the paucity of their thinking?

Sometimes, it better to keep schtum. At least that way you can fool some people into thinking that you're intelligent.
