"Room electricity is bound to a keycard, so when you leave there is no juice to charge your stuff."

That keycard you can take off since you don't need it to get in the room. Problem solved. The location is great, but I don't particularly like the front staff, especially that fat lady.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't understand. Do you have both a proper key and key card? A real/proper key to allow yourself access and a key card that is for what purpose? only to turn electric on and off?

First I've heard of having both :banghead

Cheers,

Cheers,

You actually get three items.

1) The key to the room

2) A keycard for the door just before the elevator

3) The plastic strip for electricity

There is another way around this at Pattaya Bay Resort. The electric in the bathrooms wasnt linked to the keycard slot. If i need to charge anything i plugged it into the shaver slot. Tried this in 3 rooms and it worked in all of them.

Yeah, I noticed that.

However, I can't imagine leaving my macbook pro sitting on the bathroom sink while maids work around it cleaning the bathroom.
