Is the board running real slow to manuever, or is it something I can do to correct?

 

A couple of other boards I am on are running smoothly, same as usual

I'm in England (sadly) and the board was running real slow yesterday (19th. Aug.) I had to log out before reading the latest posts. It was just not responding. Had a couple of tg's like that last year. Seems ok today though.

I've noticed that the board has been fairly slow for several days now. I'm accessing it from Thailand via Opera. Other sites have been OK.

It has been running real slow the past few days, so slow I had to leave. But today it is just about normal for me. Exception being it took awhile before the REPLY screen appeared. All else moved normally.

Just the opposite here.

Pattayatalk is just fine.

The other boards, especially the one from that place up on Soi 14, are usually so slow I just give up and disconnect.

Must have something to do with the location of the server?

I just rebooted the server. It's been running continuously for a couple of months which must be some kind of record. A reboot might speed things up a little.

 

Our server is located in the USA. I know other boards use servers located in the UK and Singapore. Depending on where you are they will all vary in speed but generally connections into and out of the USA are the fastest.

A few days ago, I couldn't get into the Forum here or at S...ets. I am in the UK using dial-up. However, no problem yesterday or today.
