Just don't like being photographed without my permission. It's MY likeness after all.

 

Don't like making photographic evidence of my cavortings available to all.

 

Don't like being watched by people who aren't there to be watched in return.

 

Don't like invasion of my privacy. Yes, that's "privacy" even when I'm in a public place. Because there's a difference between "being seen" and "surveillance."

 

Demanding privacy and having something to hide are not the same thing. Of course if you disagree please feel free to post the dates of [insert name of close female relative or significant other here]'s most recent menstrual periods and volume of flow. (Sorry, don't mean to get personal, just illustrating a point.)

i think you already know its a condition of being given a licence that every bar must have installed within the premises working cctv cameras.

 

these cameras are surveilance quality cameras with everything recorded , where as our webcams are livestream , low quality , low pixel cameras with no records being kept .

 

so are you never going to enter another pattaya bar again ? i dont think so .

Mulphy, I don't like those security cameras either. I wish no clubs had them, and when I found out that clubs I'd been drinking in for years all used them I felt violated. I understand, however, that they are actually required to have them by law.

 

At least with those security cameras the recordings are not released to the public unless a crime is committed, and then only in connection with the crime in question. And by the way, security cameras are not in fact particularly high-res, nor are they in color. At least not the ones I see on Crimewatch!

 

I'm not happy about them either, but if any club started publishing them on the Internet for any fool to download and view for their pleasure, I would be out of there and my baht would follow.

I honestly have been unable to do this .... and I know a thing or two about the internet.

Casper, I use a Mac, so it's as simple as command-shift-3.

 

If you have the ill fortune to be making do with Windoze, just google up 'screen capture' and 'freeware' I'm sure there's loads of them.

Well, if you have no need to be concerned about having pictures circulating of you playing with cheap whores overseas, that's great. Not everyone is in the same boat. When photos are being taken at parties, I include myself out.
