plans put out by the gov't. Has model photos and plans of houses

as well as apartment buildings.

Here is a good site that is based on yours. I have looked at both. The English site is better (for me anyway) to download the plans from.

Okay, all very nice and great information. I do have a question though. I see that land is measured by the rai in Thailand. How big is a rai in square feet or compared to an acre?

1 Rai is equal to .4 acres or 2.5 Rai to 1 Acre.

jte is correct. A square rai is 40 by 40 meters or 17,222 square feet.

This is a chart that for estimating Thai land measurments that I have used . I had it in an pretty colour coded excel format but i am buggered how i can copy & paste it here. I guess if you find it useful just put it into your own excel chart.
