I think they do. The LAX website should have the latest information, though.

Not sure about the bus, but you can bet they have some sort of transport. BTW, note that the process is that you claim your baggage, go through customs, then you are dumped out of the "sterile" area and back out in the insecure area. You immediately turn your bag back in to ground personnel and proceed to your next flight. Hope this helps. Safe trip and all that.

:drunk back in the usa. thanks for the info. it's the same lax as mentioned you have to clear customs and recheck bags as most airports after international flights. one difference is no ground transport you have to walk so if you are on united wear trackshoes if only 2 hours to catch flight. if i had not had checked bags there would have been no problem. i made flight as they were closeing door. advice to those connecting in lax. if you have to check-in on different airlines(you do not have boarding pass) i suggest you allow 4 hours to connect. cheers only 247 days to wheels up.

LAX is circular and there are constant buses which circle and stop at each terminal.

I'm not positive, but I think re-checking is in the same terminal as international and I think you walk to United gates.

Check the airport website they will have full details, as will united.com

The big problems in LAX are whether you get stopped in Customs, and the length of the security lines as you MUST go through security again for your domestic flight. You simply cannot predict both of those. Passport isn't usually a problem, either the US/Canadian line or the foreigners' line.

Two hours may be twice as much or half as much as necessary. I think you could say the same about the three main US airport gateways, really.

One thing that I found out that was odd about LAX is that on my Jan trip with United was that I arrived on a United flight from Sacramento at their domestic terminal and my international flight to Japan, the United gate was also at the United domestic terminal.

And as Joe mentioned they do have buses that will take you from one location to another at LAX.
