Out of these 5 hotels which is best and which is the worst.

Out of these 6 hotels which is best for location (pattaya beach and walking street), value and amenities (pool, internet, no joiner fee, etc). Also please tell me which out of these 4 would be the worst choice! Please rank for me :)

- EASTINY Seven

- Mind Resort

- Nova Platinum

- Sabai Inn

- Sunshine Hotel And Residences

On the list i stay on ly at the eastiny seven, good location and nice hotel, lovely room, i have a standard without balcony, next door to the elevator. Graet choice

Sunshine hotel and residence will be on renovation since 1 may 2010 to 31 october 2011, not a good choice actually.

I visit Mind resort, a nice resot but a little bit ouside the center like the neighbour Puphaya resort.

I stay on sabai lodge, next door to sabai Inn, i visit the Inn, nice room and you can use the pools of the lodge.

Nova Platinum is really nice, compact rooms and marvelous pool, good location.

 

So it's depending wich area you like, those hotels offer similar quality, Nova a little bit better.

Booked into the Areca in July for a month, guess that says it all

Stayed at Mind resort excellent sister hotel to Areca but a good 10 - 15 minutes walk from the action. Area can be a bit dodgy at night

 

Friend stayed here and loved it Nova Platinum again good clean hotel near the action

 

Areca is a good hotel in excellent location although wings 1 & 2 are begining to show signs of wear.

The question was best location and for me its a toss up between Soi Dianne and Soi 8. I have ususlly stayed in Soi 8 but I have to agree that the LK area is good with only one down side and that there is no supermarket within easy walking distance.

Mind Resort is Areca's dumping ground for Russian and Arab customers !

 

I stayed there once for a week as the Areca was full, loads of rude and noisy Russians, breakfast nowhere near as good and not a great location although the room was excellent.

 

I am back at the Areca Lodge in June for 3 weeks, overall nowhere has come close ; 2 pools, 2 gyms, great breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.
