Are there any hotels or resorts in the Pattaya area that are child friendly i.e.supervision ?clubs?activities? 8 year old girl and a 15 year old boy

Pattaya Park Hotel, Jomtiem has a large water park for the kiddies. I've stayed there with my family a few times and I liked it. Our daughter loved the water park. It's away from the night life.

Any decent hotel will get you up a competent baby sitter in short order, quite often one of the hotel staff with acceptable English.

Isn't that the same place where a kid was sucked into the pool filtration system or something and nobody noticed? :beer

The Marriott, Centera, New Hilton (once it opens) or most other 4-5 star hotels.

Don't confuse the Centera with the Centara. The Centera is what was the old Nipa Lodge.

went to Centara in Feb, superb hotel but pricey.

Having said that you pay your money for a reason and its a quality place to stay, so take a look and you can find 42sqm rooms for circa 2700bht per night for a decent 2x double bed room which ain't bad for the three of you.

My TG's daughter (age five) cried when we checked out of the Centara Beach Resort. To her, it was a fantasy world. She loved all the activities for children - swimming and dance classes, exercise sessions, arts and crafts, etc. The water park was also great for her. It costs a bit, but it is definitely the best hotel in Pattaya for children. You can see some pics in a mini review I did here: http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...st&p=725801

Looking at the pictures, I would have cried when I left. Was their any extra charges for the kids activities? I'm going to book this hotel the next time I have my family come to Pattaya.
