The types of Americans who would be obnoxious louts couldn't find Thailand on a map, and probably don't have a passport.

Believe it or not that accounts for loads of brits also ..........thank god !

Part of the reason the Americans seem more educated in Pattaya is because you have to be able to read and write to get a US passport.

 

 

Huh????? My son had his first passport when he was 3 weeks old. He is 9 now and on his 3rd passport! Born in Hong Kong, American Citizen. He couldn't read or write at 3 weeks, nor at 4.5 yrs old, and barely could when his 3rd one was issued a couple years back.

 

But regardless he is in year 4 of a good International school and I think he will be considered educated when he finishes with school in another 13 years or so.

Surprisingly correct, although when one lives here it looks like a lot of chavs are coming over.

 

I gave a relative a Bad guys go to Pattaya T-shirt and he said everyone in NW UK pubs kept asking him 'what is Pattaya'. I thought the place was infamous.

The Brits / English come over in larger numbers than the seppos , flights for them are a great deal cheaper as i know most americans are obese and need 2 seats to accommodate their huge derrieres.

 

Can't say that our Pommie friends seem to miss too many meals. English breakfast makes McDonalds look like health food.
