hi everyone merry xmas off to thai on wed s next week 9th i want to stay in bangkok for a change possibly near soi cowboy can any one give advise where i can stay and id appreciate an address as i have been coming thai since 2003 but only stayed bkk a couple of times comments appreciated

I have stayed here on a couple of occasions, not a budget hotel but good rooms pleasant staff and visitor friendly.

When I am in Bangkok I use to stay in soi 10 (near soi Cowboy):

Go here Asia Travel

Click on Bangkok and then click on the interactive map for the Sukhumvit area to

find hotels close to Soi Cowboy. Then go here..Trip Advisor

and paste hotel name in to search box for the latest reviews of the hotel. Click on Solo Travelers reviews for said hotel to get an idea

if hotel is guest friendly. Here is an example for a hotel about a 5 minute walk from Soi Cowboy.

When you have finally decided on a hotel then go here to book said hotel....Agoda

Agoda tends to have the cheapest prices around....

 

OR

you could try the following two hotels that I have stayed in. Both guest friendly and just fine accomodation wise. About a 10-15 minute

walk from Soi Cowboy. There are also beer bars on the Soi that both places are located at. Both are on Soi 22. One is a hotel the

other is a hotel/long term place. Both in a good location and convienent to many things/places.

Personally I would recommend bourbon st. Nice owner, well run american establishment with great service and no problem

with how many guests you want to bring back....

Well, Nana hotel never dissapoints me....50 us dollars per night....can upgrade for a little more....If you like luxury, JW Marriott right next door just about for !50 to 200 us dollars....go figure Bill Marriott to open a hotel right near Nana Plaza!

I am booked at the Jasmine in Feb. Supposedly right at Soi Cowboy but i havn't stayed there yet.

Rate was 76usd/night. If anyone has a yea/nay on this hotel let me know.

The Jasmine is an excellent choice of base for that part of town. It also has the 24 hour Little Italy restaurant on the ground floor which has proved to be a life-saver for me on a few occasions.

When I was going to BKK regularly I often stayed at the Tai-pan Hotel because of it's closeness to Soi Cowboy, literally around the corner and a few minutes walk.

gee thanx guys should have enough to keep me going slight change of plan gotta go pattaya first as have a birthday party on the 9th i forgot about i have some great suggestions thanks for your time where do i ask the taxi to take me if im in patts and off to soi cowboy area will they know of it soi etc

Just tell him Bangkok and Sukhumvit Soi Yee-sip et or Sukhumvit Soi Asoke both the same place
