Good falang food

Recommended Posts

Occasionally, I like to go to restaurants such as Bruno's, Manhatten etc. It is a real treat for me because similar places in London are outside my price bracket.

In the past, BMs have commented that it is a waste of money to take TGs to these places as they don't appreciate them. So my question is, can a BM recommend an upmarket falang restaurant where the Thai food is of similar quality (and has a menu written in Thai)?

Thanks.

Cherry restaurant on third road is a very good restaurant. Thai ladies like the food, but think that it's to expensive, you will love the food. Wednesday is the buffet, you and your lady will be impressed with the food offered. It's by far the best buffet in Pattaya. One of the best I've been to anywhere. It's right across the street from Xzyte. The Thai menu is in Thai, but with the buffet, it isn't needed, expect her to go back for second, and thirds. It's that good.

Many thanks for this. I have been there with a TG (she lived virtually across the road but didn't know about the place!) but I have to say that neither of us was impressed. However, I will now give it a second try.

I recomend Roger Rest. which is just off 2nd Road close to Pattaya Klang between the bars and Pattaya Memorial Hospital. He does very nice Italian food and his wife does excellent Thai food so it is great for people who want to eat different items. They have a small open area and a small air conditioned area with aboutg 4-5 tables and some music. Nice atmosphere but not fancy like hotels or large restaurants. I eat there a few times each visit and have always been satisfied. Roger is always friendly and it is good to see a hard working man and wife do well. Worth a try for sure. There have been some more indepth reviews on Pattaya boards. Here is a link to his website.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am rather put off by what it says on his website. Does he specialise in cannibal food, or is he pimping his cousin? :allright
