Does anyone know of any place in pattaya where one can purchace Australian Rules Football jerseys?

I would hazard a guess and say purchasing in Australia is your best bet given that with such a small market (of Australian AFL followers) that I doubt anyone in Thailand would have even heard of it let alone be attempting to replicate a bunch of team jearseys that most people (visitors) have never heard of. I could be wrong.

Yeah, you're right. I once saw a few jerseys in a mall near my house, that was years ago. I took it as a sign the AFL was having jerseys made in Thailand, or looking into it. Rules isn't popular in Thailand at all, it's not on TV, it's not played. I'd be very surprised to find jerseys on sale -- as indeed I was surprised the one time I saw some. Certainly there is no big or regular supply of them.

Haven't seen any jumpers for sale in Thailand but every game is shown, March - September on the Australian Network (Cable).

Not sure, but try the Export place upstairs in the Big C Central Festival (one on second Rd). Saw some shirts with strange names on them, and an Arsenal one, on the reduced to clear rack.

 

And to the smart alec who suggested Oz, they are cheaper and likely more common in Bali!

The last place they'd make them would be Oz.

 

Try asking around at one of the many Oz bars in town which show the AFL :

 

- Billabong (LK Metro), BTW how is Greg?

- Ned Kelly's (Soi Lengkee)

- The Boxing Roo (on 3rd Rd, near S. Lengkee)

- The Roo Bar (Walking St)

and a host of others.

 

I know I've seen them in town somewhere but as I'm from Sydney "that game they play in Victoria" was never my first interest for a sport. (Hail the mighthy Swans - )

Hi,

Have you tried the Tuesday and Friday market. Sure i saw them there last year. From what i have seen you can get anything there. If they have not got what you want, ask. They should be able to get them within a week for you.

What club do you follow or whos jumper do you want ?
