The confirmed death toll reaches 91 and authorities warn that the surging waters from the North should reach Bangkok on Monday, as teams of hunters continue the search for the many crocodiles still free after a mass escape from a flood damaged tourist park in Pattaya.

:chogdee Have any crocodiles been found ? I would imagine they would swerve farangs unless they get peckish

They'd caught about 20 a couple of days ago. Some are 400kg and 3m long, so they probably have big appetites.

Yes, that was a description of a few that had been caught already. I don't recall seeing how many escaped, and I'm not sure the park actually knows (or wants to say).

"The farm is a commercial establishment dealing in crocodile skin and meat, with about 2,800 of the reptiles"

I think youre right they either dont know or wont say.

You can be sure that every person eaten by a croc over the next three months wont be one that escaped from the Thai croc park, im sure they have captured all of the ones that got away :whistling:

Same thing happened in cairns, australia a few years ago, about 150+ floated out. People were ringing up the croc farm asking them to come and get the crocs out of their swimming pools. A taxi driver on the way to the Cairns airport aboutsix months ago ran over a croc, totally stuffed up his suspension!! It was a big one.

There are no wild crocs in Thailand. If you see one, it's escaped its owners, and it will be picked up, dead or alive.
