New Plaza

[Bazle 1,500]

New Plaza sometimes gets a mention here (and often at another place!). This is for people who haven’t been there.

 

New Plaza is on the East side of Second Road, opposite Sois 7/8 on the West side.

 

It is a horse-shoe shaped development mainly of beer bars. It seems to have found favour with a number of expats as a place to meet and partake of cheap beer.

 

There is a single road exiting the Plaza at the rear which leads out to Soi Buakhow through the market at the northern end of that Soi.

 

A new building is being constructed just at the northern exit from the Plaza.

 

On the southern exit point, there is a shrine and (!) hot-dog stand.

What bar is the blue sofa in, i have a pic of a blue sofa from a bar in new plaza, has photo's on the wall, can't remember owners or bar name but he's tall slim ish bald about 50 (could be opposite Pussy Bar)

I,ll reply to your post rather than repeating all the pix of the OP.

Great info & guidance. I wandered thro the plaza a few times but everyone seems to be linked up with mates so didn't loiter with intent.

Seems to be my sort of place (cheap beer ) & free pool !

Must return soon !

I drink here quite regularly and also use it as a shortcut home. Its one of the few bar areas in pattaya that seem to be getting busier, around 11p at night its still very busy with lots of customers and girls.
