The promotion was well thought out. As it worked well until t was fucked up by people who just think it great to rip off business owners

Well once it got under way (the staff all knowing about it) for me it was a good promotion. Well thought out???.... Actually and obviously easily open to abuse, and once yanked out from under my feet leaving me disinclined.

Your bar seems to be doing well with the cheap draft/ Happy hour, and you have built up XZone to a deservedly popular status with your efforts.

But as a bottle only drinker, I now feel excluded.

I have one customer that has obtained 3580 worth of discount from his card already and he paid 1000 baht for it so he is 2580 baht in front already.

Jacko you have raised good points and I will answer all. Our Draft beer has changed to Tiger seems to be better accepted.

1. The two for one on draft beer has stopped and we now offer draft beer at 39 baht per glass during happy hour. The cheapest in a walking street gogo that I know off.
   
2. Happy hour is from 8:30 to 10:30
   
3. Two for one is still available on selected drinks bottled Heineken being one, vokda, gin, thai wiskey and some others . All are detailed on the posters inside x zone and in bar menu.
   
4. We offer two discount cards white and gold
   
5. White card is free and offers 10 percent of all drinks EXCLUDING Happy hour drinks
   
6. Gold card cost 1000 per year and offers 20 percent of all drinks EXCLUDING Happy hour drinks plus bar fines and free access to VIP room
   
7. Individual bills over 5000 baht ( we have many can receive a free xzone shirt) also they receive a number of drinks from the house FOC
   
8. BM extended happy has stopped due to issues already discussed. ( I am developing a new BM card that can be applied for and this will provide the same BM benefits as before) I expect to have cleared the issues and obtained the cards soon.
   

I think this clearly demonstrates that the promotions are well thought out,may need some fine tuning and that is why I welcome the sort of feed back you have provided me .

 

This ensures we keep our focus on ensuring our customers expats tourists alike. I am well aware of the requirements of expats so we are always trying to find ways to encourage these clients to drink at our club.

not sure why you want to bag me but if make you feel better when ok . But my comments stay, the promotion is and was good and will continue to be so. Comments about issues are welcome so we can improve. I have never said we are prefect just we are trying to support both client bases expats and tourists. Both have different requirements.

I'm better off somewhere like Baccara or Sapphire where there are plenty of hot girls.

FOC stands for Free of Charge

 

in relation to the number of drinks no fixed amount depends on the customer and floor manager.

Thank you for coming to x zone. Our line up does change from night to night but we have been trying hard to maintain the dance line up and the show line up. Off course the show line is always a bit different due to the type of girls that tend to do these shows rather than the dance girls. On the hot nights we can loose over 80 percent of the girls on bar fines by 1am. Many come back if on ST which is good for us and them.

 

We are changing all the sofas to new and installing an increased size show table for additional seating and small dance floor at the end of the large sofa. Iam please to say that these changes are in response to feed back from BM's. So feedback is listerned to and actioned is considered benifitial to the club and our guests.

 

Lastly we will be starting a new falang manager once his work permit is issued more about this when all documents have been completed. This is also in response from some earlier comments.

 

He will be a welcome addition to the X zone team. A full posting will be made once all permits are issused.

I've actually read through this entire thread, and have to say I'm impressed by nev's willingness to invest as much time as he has in wading into the swamp and staying engaged. BMs here are generally honest & forthright about their experiences, certainly not always complimentary, and as someone said somewhere in the thread, the truth does tend to eventually see daylight. It's hard for me to imagine a business owner who goes to such lengths to keep such a dialog going NOT caring at least a bit about his customers. I'm looking forward to stopping by in May (and getting one of those cards!).

If you intend to stay for awhile think about getting a gold card .
