So I have the bug back, not the stomach one but the Pattaya one and have been looking at airfares.

 

 

Jetstar have direct flights from Melbourne, Australia return leaving March 27th for $529.24 inc all taxes

Very good price, its worth signing up with the cheap airlines for their email promo notices. I fly Air Asia from gold coast and usually get about $240-27o one way via KL

I have had a lot of promo emails coming in for cheap flights from the UK, particularly if you buy in January and fly soon.

Emirates have some great deals.

My friend from Oz booked Air Asia to come to LOS in March (obviously change in KL)

Hi gimmble,

 

Thanks for the heads up on the jetstar filights, but are you sure the $529 isn't just one way without the return leg? Jetstars website displays all prices (even when you have clicked you want a return flight) as seperate outbound and return prices, you have to add the 2 together to get the real price.

Thats an awesme Deal Gimble, have been looking for tickets for my cusin to come out and visit (from Melbourne) but the cheapest I can find on Jetstar is $700.00 return.

I just had another look and the $530 fare is now gone, these deals dont seem to last long so I suggest at $700, snap it up now as it is also a great fare.
