I think this studio is great and the views are also great, but I do have an issue with the 5 mins to beach rd .As its next to the Sanctuary of Truth it has to be 15minutes at least .

mess 2 - sanctuary of truth is in Naklua Soi 12 - rental condo is in soi 16, much nearer to beach road....

if you'd like to pop over and jump on the back of my scooter, i'll get you to beach road (dolphin island), from the condo in 5 mins. or your money back...

On a scooter it may be 5mins, but your post suggests its 5,mins walk which it ain't, I know your complex it's very nice but if you want to walk to pataya beach road from your condo it would take a good 20 mins...nice looking unit

Just a question not a flame or anything else ,but what does a european Kitchen mean in Thailand .as the only thing I see in the pics is a double hotplate and that is not what I think of when I think European Kitchen,is there an oven hidden somwhere.

You have to see a Thai one to appreciate the difference.

But you are correct, an oven is generally not available.... thinking of roasting a leg of lamb? :D

I think I shall be enjoying one soon, and another day some lamb cutlets, yummy.

You seem very perky this AM!

I was always under the impression that Thais don't have what we in the west would call a kitchen as they seem to cook either on the balcony in condo's or at the back door in houses. And no I was not thinking about cooking anything in particular as I have no plans to "live" in Thailand now but may do so in a few years time,so just wanted the info to store it with all the other pieces of knowledge I have accrued over the years ,that might just prove valuable one of these days.

PS for me an oven is not required as long as I have a microwave and a browning dish a leg of lamb or any other meat is a doddle.

Yes, it may be. According to Google Earth it's 3.4 km long; would make 40 km/h speed. Seems difficult to keep this average speed in Soi 16, but 5 mn is a good estimation ;)

Not a so good estimation for the beach' distance. Even by air you will have about 300m to a beach, not 100m ;) . By foot I am not sure of the access/distance; so many private places...

Beautiful view on a garden though.

mess 22....

to get to Beach Road, you don't travel all the way up soi 16 to Naklua Road - you "cut through" into soi 18 - past Centara Grand - and 5 mins on a scooter to the top of beach road is a doddle - i do it most days, as i live in the development....

i've not measured the distance to the beach - but the developers original brochures said beach is 100m away,.....

either way - its a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches in pattaya...

i'm just glad you got all this time to waste - you thought of getting a missus ???

I too have a 2 bed rental condo in this area and without doubt, it is the nicest area in Pattaya. Its a very well kept and very clean area. My place has been full since i bought it, so Tommy here should not have any problems renting his place
