Telephone Costs in Pattaya Hotels

As I start making plans for my next Stay in Pattaya, I would like to know the Prices you pay in Hotels for (local) Internet Telephone connections. I plan on bringing my Laptop, and as will do some work while there, need intensive Internet Connection. In all Hotels in Bangkok I was, it was always a one-time fee of 3-5 BT per call, but last year the Haven charged a hefty 3 BT per Minute. Is this standard here in Pattaya, or a rip-off?

Especially like to know the rate at the Residence Gardens, in case someone who has been there knows ...

I contacted Ib at Residence Gardens and here is his reply.   Looks like I will also be connecting to the internet as soon as I buy one of the limited hour internet cards.

 

 

Hi.

You need a computer and a modem.

In the suites, you can plug into the phone socket in the living room and the bedroom.

You may want to buy an internet package (350 Baht ????) from the local isp. Then you can access at the local rate of 5 Baht per call.

Remember the voltage here is 220 V ac
